HELP! driveshaft wont line up

just dropped my sr into my s13. i converted the s13 auto to manual and now the manual driveshaft im using doesnt seem to want to go all the way into the sr transmission

how much is sticking out? Typically, an inch or so is fine to stick out, so long as the splines are well engaged into the output of the trans.

Knock the collar off the end of the SR transmission.

yes, you need to use the dust collar off a KA engine, the SR one is too long

What did the driveshaft come off of? An s14 driveshaft will not work with an s13 chasis, the carrige won't line up. Otherwise it should work you just gotta use the ka dust collar.
