Hello there

I'm Max 25 yo Argentinean.

I'm asking a fellow car\racing fan to give me a hand with my head gasket job on an sr20det in a 240sx 91.before the competition day, this 9th! in summit point!

I'm new into mechanics, but been driving since im 8 =) . I'm stuck taking off the parts from the engine, specifically the exhaust manifold.I can't take it off. Don't have a pressure gun to take some of the bolts that are really stuck in there.I've never done this or any job in a car before, so I'm just following guides and stuff but its very complicated.

I can offer many things in return.some money, not much.pc technical support (I'm a pc tech)videogames, music, tv shows annything I can download.and if you're from a nearby group and we get to go out, I'll invite with food whatever it is.

As far as the exhaust manifold goes use a breaker bar and PB Blaster on the bolts. It'll come out, just use some elbow grease. removing the head or any other engine components should NOT be forced. If things don't just slide off, you've missed a step. We have a lot of threads addressing SR maintenance here: zeroforum/138 and a DIY head removal thread here: zerothread/254179 as always the best resource for engine maintenance is the FSM.

Also I wanna add that this guide is for people who know how to do the work before this.I'm a complete newbie, you're really not expecting someone who barely knows what a muffler is to do this kind of job are you?I mean, there is will to work on my own car myself, but its just too much.and I'm stuck with the first part of it.ive been working on it all week, just taking a few bolts out, and I still cant take the exhaust out of it.even after he sent me these links. there was no part on the exhaust.I have the manual as well, but I still can't take it out. it dosnt say everything.

I also have 0 money on me right now, so I cant even buy the tools.

I'm sorry man but if you are having trouble with the exhaust a headgasket change might be a little beyond what you can handle now. You will also need know how to do timing to do a headgasket change. You should consult a mechanic...
