help 94 Q45 camshaft position sensor to 90 Q45 wiring

I got a 1994 Q45 engine from JDM , I have a 1990 Q45 need to know

wiring on the car. Dont know how to put the engine camshaft position

sensor in the cars wiring harnes. 90, 4 plugs on top and 3 plugs on bottom

the 1994 QS enging camshaft position sensor has only 4 on top what do i

do with 3 bottom wires on the subcamshaft position sensor connector

Do they go to the 4 wiring on top 94 does not have the sub connector on

While you're waiting for responses do a search. Another member recently had a similar problem with a 90-93 >>> 94-96 (or vice versa) engine swap. If I can find the thread I'll post it up. Good luck.

The harnesses, as you're discovering, don't match up.

AZHitman is the only guy recently who has done it successfully, and it was no fun. I think you're gonna have to get the specifics from him. You're gonna need two harnesses and then splice the correct connectors into one of them.

Factory Service Manual. I'm really hoping you have one, if you're doing an engine swap.

You've found a missing part of the NICO body of knowledge. No one has ever posted step-by-step instructions for matching-up the harnesses and solving the other mismatch issues. Sorry. Two or three posters have tried it, but AFAIK no one ever came back to tell us exactly if and how he accomplished it.

We do know that it's a nasty PIA.
