I'm about 99% sure that Axiom Motorsports (close to my house) still has the Greddy knobs, and quite a few of them. I'll pick one up for you, if you like...

I have one in my Subie. It made the shifter a lot shorter in height, and feels great with the heavy weight of the knob. The down side is that it is cold in the mornings, and gets a little bit toasty in the summer. However, I really like it, cold or hot and wouldn't consider getting rid of it.

You can also have one made for you, and considering it's custom, they're pretty cheap. WC Lathe Werks has a for sale thread at nasioc.

FR Sport has the Greddy...

I have this one:

It's just too light for me, I've been wanting to get a new one.

**EDIT** These say they are counter weighted also, if you like them.

a lot of places are still listing them, but don't have any or will just say they're on back order. when i spoke to john at 240sxmotoring (they still list them on the site but it says "discontinued") he told me that they're gone forever.

well then i'd either be shifting with my mouth, or my a**. both ways would prove to be quite dangerous. on the other hand, it would be one sexified way to go out.

I hope that shift "knob" wasn't the one you were referring to being pricey. It looks horrible. If so I can get a rodend for a couple bucks and screw it onto a piece of metal and make a fortune! I could even get it in stainless steel for you so it is really shiney!

Well if you did this and offered it in orange for less than $60 you would have at least one customer Cause i don't think it looks horrible. Just different. I haven't found anything i liked; the long sticks look like dildos and the big balls look like they belong in a camaro or something. I almost like the stock one better than the PBM one but the stock one is just as expensive and gets old and worn looking in the sun. To each his own.

I agree with you on the dildo shifters. I never have understood that. I really can't judge though I have the automatic for now. Maybe if i saw the rest of the interior that "knob" would flow better. It is just definitly not my flavor but if it went with the rest of the car it may not be bad.

Really the problem is I can't decide whether i want KA-T or SR20. kinda pointless to swap then buy another sr20 transmission.

Nissan first started offering NISMO parts when I was working in a Nissan warehouse about 6 years ago, I remember opening up a box of those to put on a shelf
