Sounds great, Craig. I'm pretty sure they will fit/work without any issues. They should also be the exact same fit for the M35 or M45. Thanks for being the lucky person!

Didn't notice this thread before. I replaced my filters when I got the car. Ordered those in the link above from Partsgeek. They are a little bit "taller" but fit and work just fine. It is just a small peltier cooler/warmer depending on which way the fan blows. Pretty neat setup but not very efficient (air volume wise). Easy to package in a seat. I do miss the seats in my Lexus though. Didn't really have to use the heater with the heated seats! I rarely use the seat warmer/cooler in the M as the HVAC works perfectly fine for me, especially with tinted windows.

Know this "heated seat" post is a little old. Has anyone ever experienced 1/2 of the seat not warming up?

Both websites are currently selling each filter for $77.45.
These are actually for Nissan models (370Z & Maxima) and the Infiniti FX series. For M specifically see

My seat heaters work just fine. In sub-freezing winter temperatures here, my seat heaters are hot long before the climate control system starts pumping out warm air. I usually start them on the highest setting, but if I leave them at that setting it actually gets too hot. In terms of summer time, I usually use the coolers on the seats just to cool them down initially when I get in the car, if it has been sitting out in the hot sun. In the spring and fall I rarely use either system. I will also have to take a look at the filters, since they have never been replaced and I now have almost 90K kilometres on the car. Thanks for the info on how to check them out.

The ones that I quoted work for the M35/M45 as well, but I already noted that the Partsgeek seat filter link from Craig (http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format ... 3237450523) is priced much better and it was verified by DeanM45 that the Partsgeek seat filter he bought is ""Taller", but fits and work just fine."

OK, whomever posted "get rid of the cooled seats' needs to STOP saying that! LOL I'ts hot down here and I love the cool temps on my legs, my back and my bum!
Seriously though, I've 'heard' that over time, both heating and cooling capacity decreases due to the seat cushions losing their fluffiness that allows the air from the fan to circulate under our bums. My car is a 2007 and so far I'm pleased. Didn't buy it new, so I can't say if it's any less effective than it was back in 2007.
I recommend changing the seat filters and also do a thorough cleaning of the seat to make sure your preferations are not clogged from accululated dirt or cheap leather care products.

For anyone looking for the circular shaped car seat filter, this is the cheapest replacement: Motorcraft FS-104 for $22 at Amazon

If you need the square one: look for NPN Cabin Air Filter part# W0133-1894994

IlyaKol wrote:I stand corrected. As for the filters, how expensive are they and where does one get them? I'm approaching 100k and I've never changed em. Wouldn't hurt to do so.
I changed my seat filters about a year and they didn't look that bad at first. They were sort of greyish so I just figured they had carbon in them. Well, after manipulating them, all sorts of dirt and dust and caca came out between the folds. I bought mine at Auto Geek. I felt a marked improvement in cool and warm as soon as I replaced them. They were not that expensive, actually MUCH cheaper than than the Infiniti filters. I also buy my cabin filters at the same place. Here is the link:

http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2007/i ... ilter.html

The cabin filter I use is the FRAM filter - 4th down from the top - the seat filters have black frames and are listed just under the fram filter.

Cabin filter (carbon): $21
Seat filter: $18 each

PS: Ilya, check your messages, mate

Pulling up an old thread here but what about for those M owners who have the rear heated seats?
How to change filters on those?
