Heat only blows on high

Yeah, nice call on that being the problem. I only ran through the fan speeds real quick to see that they all worked, and they do.

Oh yeah. From what I gather, the blower motor is inside the 'intake unit', per the FSM. That would be the big black box behing the glove box and to the right. I would have liked to have cleaned it up while the glove box was out, but I didn't want to bother taking anything else apart.

Alright, so here's what I learned.

-You just have to remove the passenger side kick panel, nothing else.-There is no metal rectangle. It's white plastic.-The plug that connects to the foot-area light on the kick panel connects to the Darlington assembly also.-The two bolts that hold it into place are 8mm.-This is one of those somewhat cramped jobs that will piss you off if it's cold outside because you'll keep dropping things.

So it's behind the kick-panel beneath the glovebox and not the one covering the ECM?

Can you list the Nissan part number and price?

Right. 4 screws and 2 plastic clips to get to it.The box from Infiniti of Scottsdale says part # 27761-0p000. It was around $75 shipped to me.

my Q45 does the same thing. blades 1-3 don't work but it's stuck on high.

All the links in this thread should help you in repairing your problem. You have to take the glove box out and replace the part I replaced. It shouldn't take more than a half hour, and the part is around $75 from Infiniti of Scottsdale.
