ok so ive had this coupe for over a year and ive yet to drive it. little background, found it about an hour away, its a 93 se with most of the options, only without a sunroof. perfect! it had a broken ignition and a s14 ka swapped in it. payed 350 bucks for it not knowing if it ran or not. i threw a new ignition on it and it ran like a top. it was a auto, but i did the 5spd swap on it. i then found a good deal on a built sr from a buddie, and pulled the ka and sold it. mods so far are

redtop sr20forged internalsgt3076r turbo800cc lucas injectorsarp headstudsgreddy rocker stoppersgreddy intake manigreddy pulliesgreddy oil pannismo mountsnismo thermostatnismo pivotnismo slave cyl.spec stage 3 clutchspec lightweight flywheelkoyo radgodspeed intercoolerr33 diff and axles1pc. driveshaft shop aluminum driveshaftall new oem silvia front w/ triples300zx brakesmegan track coiloverscheap 17in wheels (hey they clear z brakes/ coils and thats all i need right now)new pignose carpetuncracked dash swaps14 seats

the manifold were building is fully custom, i wanted something different then just the usual topmount. so when we finish it, ill post pics so everyone can be jealous. im sure there is more, but i cant remember right now, ill update when i do.

to the pix!

when i found her

took her home

rust free, and one little dent

hud, and it works perfect

got bored, so a little diy two-tone

new motor, i dont look excited. lolbeforeduringand after

new brakes

new turbo

cheap wheels that clear my brakes, just needed something to push it around on, and i got 5 of em

waiting for new suspension and me to do some real paint prep for new all white paintjob

random driveshaft pic

new oem silvia hood

new oem silvia fenders

custom intercooler mounts

coils and brakes on

interior stripped, now has pignose carpet and a uncracked black dash

motor pulled again for engine bay paint and waiting for me to finish the body prep so we can paint everything and get her on the road

thats about it for now, ill update when i have something big finished.

discuss!!!

Looks like you got a good thing going for ya. Im not digging that gold color though IMO it would look better if it was a darker silver, But hey...Its your car. Keep us updated.

im ditchin the gold completely. going with a gm pearl white. like whats on the 08 excalades. two tone is cool, but ive outgrown it. pearl white and some matte black fnor1c's should look bitchin

sounds good man.

740cc injectors w/ gt30 sounds fun...

I'm assuming you have Walbro or something for delivering more fuel?

Also, what are you doing for tuning? Just curious... and hopefully you won't say SAFC, LOL.

just a walbro 255, i think i might run something else though. not sure if that will pump enough fuel for what i want to do.

as for tuning, i have a friend that does c-tune for honda's. and he has a program now that lets us do real time tuning on the interstate or track on sr20 ecu's. he can burn chips for ecu's so ill prob run 2 different stage chips. i want a daily tune at 12 lbs. and a track tune at 18-20 lbs. we havent got that far so i guess i will find out more about it when we get closer. i do know that i wont be using any thing like safc, or emanage or something like that

just a teaser update, should be finished tomorrow and motor back in this weekend. i work 6 days a week so it slightly hinders my progress, ill prob shoot a few pics of my interior since its pretty much finished. im just waiting on my nardi to get here, it shipped yesterday

fyi this is rattle canned, and looks professional, i sprayed the front and prepped the rest of the bay to shoot tomorrow, i also pulled off my valve cover to send for powdercoating. my head looks pretty clean

and a shot of the head, i was supposed to have greddy rocker arm stoppers, but mine are black??? anyone know who makes black ones?

ya i painted it anodized candy apple red. looks insane in the sun, and the gold was chippin off in some places.

rustolium semi-gloss, its all about paint prep. if you prep it good, it will come out good.
