ya it will look nasty when im done. its a 3 stage pearl so it will def be one of a kind! we might throw some blue in the pearl, i dunno i havent decided yet. wheels are matte black FN01R-C's which i think will go great with that color

harness is already ran in these pics, its not mega tucked, but theres not a bunch of random s*** running everywhere either.

some interior shots that ive never got around to posting.

update!

my injectors came in today. i originally was going to use some nismo 740's that a buddie had, be he ended up needing them for his project so i had to go a different route. i went with lucas 75 lb. top feeds. there about 250 bucks cheaper than nismo's, and there just as reliable. plus their a 790cc injector instead of a 740 cc one . i had the fuel rail laying around, so i polished it up a little bit before i tossed it in the intake mani. because i have a 1st gen greddy intake mani, the mounting spots dont line up for my fuel rail so i took a few picks of me making some custom brackets. i had to leave the shop early yesterday to make it to my girlfriends awards banquet, but i should have some finished pics later today.

you can see where i have to make the bracket here.

quick weld

clean it up

finished, now i just need to cut it to fit and do some bending

finished up some stuff tonight. not really much, but hey it was a start. finished my brackets for my fuel rail and did a little wiring for my altima fans. didnt get everything finished because we had some storms roll in and were supposed to get tornado's anyways, heres the pics of what i finished.

my finished brackets, just need to paint them now

the one that was a b**** to make

mocked up

other side

i sprayed them semi gloss so they wouldnt rust, but i didnt have time to wait for them to dry so ill have those pics later.

ran the wiring for my altima fans. yes i used butt connectors and i dont plan on redoing it. lol. we didnt have any solder and i figured these would work fine as long as you crimp them on correctly

the fuse plug is underneath the rail that the fenders bolt to (whatever you call that) its nice and stealthy, but still easy to get to incase it ever blows.

and i replaced my overdrive light with an e-fans switch since i no longer have overdrive

updateso im gonna have to redo my fuel line brackets. the big one flexes in the middle when i tighten it down. i guess the bracket it simply too long. my friend chris said he would tig a bracket onto the fuel rail thats shorter, so ill let him worry about that part. lol. i did get some parts in. aeromotive A1000-6 fpr and aeroquip 6 an fittings. ya it wasnt cheap, but its gonna look sexy all hooked up!

here is how its gonna be setup. i drew it out on paper. lol

small update havent done alot of work, but i did do some polishing on a spare turbo i might toss on there, i havent decided yet which one im going to use, either this holset, or the gt3076r. id almost rather sell the garrett since im broke as a joke and run the holset, that would give me enough money to finish things up.

spare holset h1c

next to motor

what inspired me to polish this one. this is my friends turbo that he's been working on for a few days

mounted fpr

sprayed my s***ty wheels black to see if i like the look.

what happens to Z brakes when they sit too long

got bored, so i mocked up my front end with zipties, ill be pulling it all back apart to cut the fenders and bumper/hood in when it goes for paint.

yes i have triples, they were the right price at the right time, so they will work for now

last one, everything lines up great [IMG][/IMG]

that wiring will burn. seriously.

nowhere near enough current carrying capacity, let alone through that little girl switch. get yourself a fan controller or at least a relay for it.

your hard work will either go up in flames, or you will pop fuses every 5 mins... ask dizzel01...

*long overdue update*

so ive been gone from home all summer working and havent done anything on my 240. i did get some parts in though. picked up some mint oem chuki skirts and a built head+cams so i can rev to 9k. also finished the polish job on my holset turbo. onto the pics.

the head was built by a shop around here and has BC valve springs and titanium retainers, new oem valves, along with a full competition valve job, decking of the head, and some other s***. lol

holset H1C turbo after assloads of time polishing. looks better than it did un-polished.

HKS 272 cams i picked up off a friend after he KO'D his motor. should give me some low end back that ill lose from the turbo lag.

and last but not least. OEM chuki 180sx sideskirts. there mint, no cracks or chips anywhere. im so stoked i found them local because i hate paying for shipping on big body parts.

Sorry to burst your bubble but unless that head has a set of solid rocker arm pivits and the proper shims, 8k rpm is all your going to do safely.
