See, my response THERE is 'being an a$$'. Before: that's just trying to get back to the subject at hand.

Get a CT scan. The accident did more than injure your foot.

For anyone not wanting to look like some spoiled trust fund kid (seriously, who else would snowboard with cans?), Woot has Koss earbuds for sale for $8 right now.

...If I wanted to 'look like a trust fund kid' wouldn't I want really nice headphones, not <$50 headphones?

If people talk about other brands and styles of headphones in a headphone thread, deal with it. You could just politely say, "but what about this criteria," instead of being an Image about it. But if you did, you wouldn't be you, and I'd wonder who hijacked your account.
As usual, beautifully and accurately stated.

If anyone doesn't like the definition and function of a "discussion forum", feel free to hit up Ask.com. :)

BTW, "locked" means "locked".

This thread is a shxtfest.

Jimmy: Get anything big and reasonably durable. For your purposes, I'm sure Skullcandy's will work fine. Portapros will probably be fine too, and they aren't a plastic headband (metal) so they won't break if you fall, just bend and you can bend them back.

I would say get Grado SR-60's or something, but for riding this would be beyond dumb. Go buy the Portapros for $35 and be happy. Besides, they sound good and look 80's rad.
