you are going to need to bake it in the oven for a bit for sealant to melt and apply new sealant when done. you can use a heat gun but it may take longer. i found a bunch of tutorial on youtube awhile ago when i did mine. I'll see if i can find the videos again

Hello, welcome to the forum.

Yes, you have to heat up the entire headlight and separate the lens from the headlight. See the first post....the images don't work but it should still help: sport-headlight-conversion-t464409.html

Please use the FAQ or search function as this has been discussed.

Can we do something about titles like these? "Headlight issue", "Trying to install angel eyes". Not that difficult. New or not, there should be a policy of no help for titles like this, no excuses.

I have to use this baking method too. I have a lot of moisture in one of my headlights.

If you guys do bake your headlights, I recommend taking the oven rack out while you are pre-heating the oven and then turn the oven off once you put the headlights in. The residual heat should be enough to soften the sealant and you don't run the risk of the heating element coming on and melting some plastic you don't want melted.

Sounds good. What is the ideal temperature? 220-250?

^this - I've KC masterpieced some housings before... I've worked with 200 degree to answer your last question though... start lower and mover up, so the tabs arnt all rubbery... I use vinyl trim pullers to work around the edge, mo betta than screw drivers.
