I am looking for fuses for my '90 model 240SX. The ones uner the hood by the battery. Can anybody help me? I haven't been able to find them anywhere. Pick and pull is next option.

Welcome to NICO!

Could you post a photo of your old fuse that you want to replace?
You should be able to find most common fuses in the "HELP!" section at Autozone or Advance.

Basically, host your photo, right click on it, get the address and put Imagewww.photoaddress.com[/img] in your next reply.

In the interest of time and getting you back on the road- is it one of these?

Those go beyond what I'm able to help with, sorry man!

However, others can help. Make a post in this thread:

with a link to your thread and Papasmurf should be able to help you out further.

I don't believe that I have ever pulled one of those out of a car before.

Definitely make a post in the thread I suggested above. He's A LOT more knowledgeable about 240's than I am.

I've never had to change one either, but they are right in the S13 fusebox. They are tough to find in auto parts stores and Nissan wants a lot for them.

Thanks a bunch. I ordered two 25amp fuses. Hopefully this will complete the loop and fix my headlight problem.

Okay, I got the fuse and replaced it. When I did I found a wire bundle that had been chaffing on a bracket and was shorting out. I fixed it and now I have another problem. I am happy to report that my headlights work, sort of….I have to use the manual button on the dash to get them up and they won't go back down until I first hit the manual button and then turn the key off. I'm pretty sure it's on of the relays but not sure which one. This is way above my pay grade. Can anyone give me some pointers or maybe you know which relay I need to replace.

Well you caught me at the right time - I've been playing with the pop-up lights for the past few weeks.

3 Relays in the US drivers side fusebox
- Retract Relay 1 & Retract Relay 2 are to turn the headlights off when the motors are in motion, ignore them.
- the other is Retract Relay 3. This one makes the lights go DOWN, so it could be your problem.

Try tapping on the relay, if it is stuck it might start working. Also swap it with another relay of the same color in either fusebox and see if anything changes.

The other place this can happen is in the stalk / switch for the lights / turn signals.

What happens if you just use the HL UP/DN override button without turning the headlights on? Do they go up and down normally? If yes, you should clean or replace the headlight stalk. Below is a link to clean it, and search eBay and NICO / Zilvia For Sale posts for a used stalk or grab a new one from http://www.rockauto.com

Good luck!

I don't think it's in the headlight stalk because I already cleaned it. Unless of course it's bad then I'll have to change it. I'll try the other suggestions though. I really appreciate the help.
