ok i have a 96 s14 with headlights so yellow people slow down because of them ... a little over kill but you get the point .. i tried to use the cleaning things for headlights in stores but no help.. any ideas?

I like to use Meguiars paint cleaner/cleaner wax on a mini air polisher/buffer. I use it on all clear plastics with zero scratches. I even use it on crystal clear acrylic when I build sub woofer enclosures etc. You can use it on your gauge cluster cover, I use it on radio face plates etc.

I wet sanded mine. Started with 400 grit then used 600, 800, 1000, and 1500. Then I used mequiars plast x to remove the cloudy look after the wet sanding.

i hate having to buff those kind of head lights all the time so i just wet sand with 1500-1800 grit and shoot 2 light coats of clear. NEver have to worry about them yellowing. Just clean /wax/etc like the rest of the car.

I use 800 then 1500 grit sand paper to wetsand the material off the lamp, then polish it with a polish that contains UV polymers or UV coating to slow down the oxidation or discoloration of the lens.

I used the 3M headlight refinishing kit you can buy at the store. I used it fore and aft with great results. The taillights were very hazy after removing spray on tint (I didn't do it, a PO did), and after using the 3M stuff, they look almos brand new.

Meguiar's PlastX worked well for me. Had to use a little elbow grease, but is an good (temporary)alternative if you are not comfortable with sanding your headlights.

First off don't use anything mentioned above by non professionals. I detail cars everyday. I use a medium cut compound in liquid form with a wool pad and a buffer @ 1500- 2000 rpm. Then over the that with really top notch wax. If you have any questions let me know i can steer you in the right direction.

any chance of getting some before and after pics, I need to do mine as well. Was planing on get those EDM headlights for my S14 Zenki but they're unbgodly expensive and i don't have the experience or know how to swap out the lens with the oven trick
