Hey guys

I bought myself a G50 Q45 last week and I am just wondering what type of bulbs they use in both the low beam and the high beam? I have a set of H4 sitting here, but not sure if they will work. Also is it easy to find HID kits? Thanks for the help!!

Mine is an Australian delivered vehicle by the way

Brendon

H4 is dual-filament, high and low beam in one lamp. The Q uses separate lamps for high and low beam.

It depends which year G50 you have, though. Here's the G50 lighting guide, should have all the info you need:zerothread?id=167963

Qship96 also has a great post on bulbs by candle power in MD, USA. the bulbs are brighter and last longer than syliverstars by sillvania.

the lights are completely separated by the core support metal form the engine bay. and i am willing to bet that they will be H4 like you first guessed. and on my hid kit i took the headlights off and but the balast under the lights so i could still use the plastic covers and keep the engine bay looking clean!

Not sure what you mean by the headlights.... they are standard (Jap spec) head lights.
