you don't have to retorque head blots on modern engines with metal head gasket. the last time i remember reading retorque head bolts after 500 miles was on a 1985 mazda pickup, since that i have never seen a Japaneses car instructions that said to retorque head bolts. Do you know how much work it is to retorque sr20det head bolts?
