right... I know I can add seafoam to 1) motor oil via oil cap hole 2) gas tank via gas cap hole. On the bottle it said I can add to injection or carburetor. Where exactly do I perform this third task? Where do I put it in? I did a search and looks like some people put it in their brake booster? I am really not familiar with some of these parts. I checked the FSM that's floating on NICO but can't seem to find info on brake booster or carburetor, if someone want let me know which page to look it'd be great.

On the bottle it also says o2 sensor safe, well then why do some people replace their o2 sensor afterward?

some ways that you put seafoam in your car do not make tons and tons of black smoke and some ways do (via crankcase) people replace them if tons of smoke comes out

well i know there have been rave reviews by many owners. But i don't know what it is. But ever since i ran that stuff my motor has been acting weird. and my motor eats oil now this is about 3-5 months after running it.

The only places you can put seafoam is:

Engine crankcaseGas tank (for injectors/valve deposits)Intake via a vacuum hose (for intake cleaning and better valve cleaning)

The brake booster is on the drivers side of the car, on the firewall, hooked on the master cylinder. There should be a vacuum (small black hose) going from the booster to the intake. You can unhook it from the booster side, and dump the stuff in there at fast idle (around 1500-2000)

For intake cleaning, I recommend getting GM top engine cleaner. It is specifically designed to remove stuff like this... Go to your GM dealer and get a can, seafoam is good but I like this stuff better..... Dont get the aerosol..

However, if you get the aerosol, you can put it in via the TB but you will have a hard time doing that iwth the MAF...

1/3 in engine oil 1/3 in gas tank and 1/3 in vacuum.

I let a guy that use seafoam for 20 yrs do it for me and the vaccum that he used is the one located on the front left side of the eccs. ( for the s13)

all you have to do is trace from you intake, follow the intake tube and it should lead to it. Not too sure about the s14 also don't drown the vacuum (Metal tube that sticks out) with sea foam get a hospital iv bag and plug the iv tube to the vaccum pitch the iv tube so that the sea foam can work into the vaccum slowly. Rev the engine a bit so that you can prevent it from stalling

After that let the car sit for 15-20 minute and start it up.

NO NO NO NO NO!!!

Seafoam will thin your oil, do not, I REPEAT DO NOT drive hard (or at all) with seafoam in your oil. Just let the car idle for 15-20 minutes, then change the oil.

Thats true... I was referring to getting the carbon out. Yes WOTing with seafoam in the cranckcase would be BAD NEWS!

Do the thing for the intake first, and then add to the crankcase so you CAN drive the piss out of it! :)

yep you only need one bottle for each of the 3 places.

cause the guy that helped me do the carb cleaning said that adding too much can actually harm the engine.

look towards your brake fluid res. see that big round thing behind it ? look for a round tube about an inch thick or so ? and pull that off. when you do and the car is on.. youll hear this big WHOOOSHing sound.

hmm... youre in rowland heights, not too far from me. maybe i should come down and show you myself... and in exchange ill take some of those extra seafoam bottles :)

and... YOU BOUGHT SIX ?! =X

Using "too much" seafoam won't hurt your car, they're blowing a load of crap.

Using too much in the crankcase could, but not in the intake... Definitely not.

I always use a full can.....

Well yeah, but I think anyone with common sense would know not to do that, knowing what I posted here earlier.

Ive never done this, but can at least show you where the brake booster is.The pic above points in the general direction. Its mounted on the firewall on the right side of the engine. Its black and shaped like a flat disc (resembles a stack of CDs). Attached to the front of it (towards your headlights and away from the firewall) is a metallic cylinder about an inch in diameter (this is the master cylinder). Sitting on top of the master cylinder is the brake fluid reservoir where you add brake fluid. As far as which tube to use, all I know is that theres supposed by a line going form the brake booster to the manifold/throttle body area. I'm sure these guys can help you with that.
