Tuning and hacks dont go well together man. If your going to spend money anywhere spend it on your tune. Or just run a FMU, stock injectors and low boost until you want to spend the cash.

Id recommend Enthalpy personally, his tunes are great.

+1 on Enthalpy, it's well worth the $500 knowing it'll get done the RIGHT way. (However he seems to be slow on customer service lately- but in the end still a good tuner.)

Or if you know a local tuner that knows his stuff.

Yeah I ran across him a couple of times but can't quite afford him yet. What FMU do I go with?I read a little chart thing when I was searching but I just don't understand whats going on. I found a guy with a similar set up that I'm going with and he's Running a 6:1 on 9-10psiI r confused.

Its all about your AFR's. I have heard 8:1 does the job, 6:1 probably works too you just need to either have a dyno check out your AFR's or invest in a wideband.

9-10 psi is high for a FMU imo. It can be done safely with at least a 3 degree base timing retard but that effects drivability.

Well whats your setup?

I couldnt afford Enthalpy at the time, and ended up spending about $600(Enthalpy is 5) on tuning (luckily I found a bada$$ local tuner or else it wouldve been $750+) so take it for what you will. Tuning is probably the most important thing you can do to a turbo car..

Personally? Only if it didn't work.

eBay parts are tricky. You win some, you loose some. It's definitely a buyer-beware situation.

First on the shopping list is:

Lol meh, never hurts to have another Ebay first hand experiance around.

Your going to go with a t4? Seriously just go with the t3.t4 50 trim you will be much happier with the results. China makes plenty of them. ]

Make sure you use an oil restrictor or you will have problems with the cheap turbos.

What is the difference between the T04E and a t3/t4 turbo? I always thought that they were the same.

T04[E], etc is referring to the compressor side of the T3/T4 turbo, which is a hybrid, using a T3 on the turbine and a T4 size on the compressor. T4 = T04. the "E" or sometimes you see "S" are the different wheel/trim size compressor size, the "S" is bigger than the "E"....
