Has anyone done a nice back seat delete?

On my s13 hatch I have found that the back seats are pointless and I don't need them. The interior is about to get re-upholstered and I don't want there to be a back seat when it's done!

Has anyone done a nice delete (not gut) ?

I'm thinking of building a sub box for 2 10"s where the back seats sat and getting carpet to cover from there to the trunk space.

I'm not sure what else would be nice that's why I want some opinions and or pictures!

yea im with you on this. i was lookin at that pic of the vert cuz i wanna do something like that in my hatchy. there is nothing valuable in searching as far as DIYs and threads with lucrative information go. all i can find is that topic started by ace5. with the vert in it.

i am in no way being an @$$ but if there are so many topics about this, can someone please point us in the right direction?

Shiet!! throw in a roll bar and call it a day. Plus back seats are so overrated and pointless. Who needs them unless it's maybe a DD, I just always tossed stuff on them anyways

origin makes a back seat delete, its 3 total panels eithor cf or frp, i think raceonusa has them...

if you read the thread you would know that there have been multiple posts stating we already say the thread with the vert. the picture doesnt really do justice. all you can see is the top panel of the enclosure... there isnt anything about it except for, a comment on the NOS bottle and some posts about how sweet it is.

go buy some expanding foam from walmart or Home depot, make a mold of what you want it to hold....... mount fill with form, add molding.........

remove mold when dried.

go to town.

dont like that measuring, cutting, and mounting is all the more science there is..... wrapping it with fabric is pretty easy with spray glue.....

what more do you want? what do you want back there? it is custom so how about you tell us what you are wanting to have there and then go from there. Im not going to tell you what you should put in your rear end...... thats for you to decide.

what more do you want? what do you want back there? it is custom so how about you tell us what you are wanting to have there and then go from there. Im not going to tell you what you should put in your rear end...... thats for you to decide.

With the lack of pics of people that have done it, I wanted a thread to show some peoples idea. People can go whatever direction from there. I didn't ask you what I should put in the backseat, I asked for ideas and/or pics.

cardomain and google are full or images of rear ends.........(probably not the word I would google) . ANYTHING can be done to the back end...(god this going down hill real fast). Just got to have time, patience, and the right tools

you have empty space..... do with it what you will.
