Wondering if I should do it, I just use the back seats for shelfs really., to small to fit people back there. I want to do it, but I dont want to see all the metal floor, wondering if I could put carpet down, or maybe a small couch ha. Any one have any pics of theirs? Thanks again-Ace

I don't have pics but it's very easy to remove seatbelts and all, you really don't need any kind of instruction or anything. I imagine you could put down some carpet infact i wouldn't mind doing that myself. My rear seat is in right now but i have had it all out before, it's a snap.

There was a thread less than a week ago where someone had a picture of a product that replaced the back seats... and it was carbon fiber. It looked cool, although for me i need my back seats

If you don't mind me asking, why? I find it very hard to fit people back there, i have to really hate someone to make them sit back there.

I dont hate my back sit, and for the first time ever I sat in the back seats(my girlfriend really wanted to drive) and it wasnt that bad. I just wanted to see if anyone removed theirs and see how it turned out.

I've got an 8 1/2 month old that HAS TO GO in the back seat, thats why. And it looks clean. I hate it when people rip out the seats for no reason

I can fit one asian sitting sideways in the back. Personally, my head smashes the hatch glass.

That sir, is a very good reason. Ang i agree it looks ghetto, thats why if i was going to do it i would make sure i put down some carpet or something and make it look clean.

Yeah, unless you are going ALL OUT racing in the car and it is strickly track, I think taking out the back seats is just rediculous. Unless you find a way, like you said, to make it look good such as using carpet or something else.

And yes, baby girl definately is a priority when it comes to the 240. I have to build my car with her in mind. She can has boost?

The removal should be easy, and would give a lot more space for loading stuff up in the hatch. I agree that it's unlikely that you'd want to put people back there very often.

Right now the nitrous is only for an intercooler sprayer, RB's run hot in 110+ degree temps.

The other RB I am building will have direct port nitrous

I have my back seats removed and i love it. The car is my DD and its my track car. I plan on getting a DD some day but i love having no back seats. I never used them. My GF sits next to me and my friends can drive there own car. I stripped everything i didnt need out of my car and i lost 300 lbs.

I pulled my back seats, 1. the .05 weight, which really wasn't a big deal. 2. Im not driving a van and i got sick of people asking for rides, so i just told them i only have one seat.240 = not a taxi ...

The back seat of a 240 is there to lower my insurance costs. I took mine out for about two days. I put them back because it got LOUD with all the rocks in my fender and the 3" piping.
