Has anyone actually seen another Versa on the road yet?

For the last two weeks we have been behind the same Versa just about every day on our way home from work. They live in a neighborhood nearby I assume being thats all thats near us is other neighborhoods.

Someone in the Colorado Nissan 4x4 club has one. Even on the Xterra Owners Club site there are a few Versa owners.

I have had my Versa 3 months now. I have never seen another Versa on the road - live in the Bay Area. I have seen Fits and Yari though. I just took mine to the dealer for the 3 month oil change and they had none either. Where do they all go?

FINALLY! After almost 2 months and 5500 miles, I saw one today in the interstate between Asheville and my house. Onyx Blue with SC plates. I stayed near him 8-10 miles until my exit.

It seemed to me that the darker color made some of the features less obvious, with less contrast than on a lighter car. He was almost right on me before I was sure it was a Versa.

(Also, the first thing I did when I got mine was to take off the front license plate holder, so seeing one with it made it seem like a different front end than mine. And with my white one, small circles of a white bumper sticker covered the holes nicely, so the bumper looks intact.)

Finally saw another Versa. Lost mine in a mall parking lot, thought I'd found it finally but it wasn't mine - same color - Blue Onyx I think - it was dark so hard to tell. Did find mine eventually. This was a Union City mall. I live in Richmond, CA

Last week my daughter tells me that her friend is getting a Versa. Yesterday look in my RV mirror and see a blue Versa. I thought hey first other Versa I've seen yet. I look up at the driver and it's my daughter's friend. What are the odds that the first other Versa I see I happen to know the owner.

Well, 5 weeks ago to the day (it was a Tuesday) I purchased my Blue Onyx Versa 1.8 SL with CVT. Although I've put over 3k miles on the car, I had not seen another one. However, a family friend was checking my car out this past Sunday, and today (Halloween) he picked up a Magnetic Gray 1.8 S with 4-spd Auto Trans from the same dealer & sales person that I purchased my Versa from. So the very first one I've seen outside of a dealer's lot was also a friend's (although I think I did all of the selling and the dealer's sales person essentially took the order).

Just thought this was too wild to pass up on Halloween - so here's a night photo (with some color adjustment) of the 2 hour old Magnetic Gray Versa S on the driveway next to my 5 week old Blue Onyx Versa SL.

I saw one today as I was driving up the road to the store. I was thinking, yea there is another one in the hood and it is black just like my wifes.

It is 8 weeks to the day since I picked up my Versa SL and up until now the only other Versas I've seen are the two belonging to those that I helped talk into buying one. But NO more. This morning on the way to work I saw two different RED Versas in Vernon Hills, IL in a matter of a couple of minutes. The first one was a RED S in the Target parking lot and the 2nd one was a Red SL with a beige interior zipping east along Route 60 past the Target. I've now seen "Three of a kind" (RED ALERT ones, that is).

I've seen at least five or six to date. Twice, on my way home from New Paltz, I drove home on I-87 next to a Magnetic Grey SL. It's weird that it happened twice, and I think it was the same one.

I was thinking the same thing, I'm a Truck driver, on the road 8 hours a day and still have'nt seen one. Kinda like when I went deer hunting.

In Minneapolis-St. Paul, I have seen the Versa three times since August. The thing is on two of those occasions I must have seen the same vehicle, a red one, driving in the same area. The other was a silver one clearly being test-driven (because it had a magnetic dealer plate in the back).

I am frankly surprised that I am not seeing more Versas in this area. The nearby Nissan dealership that I have been going to says that the Versa is selling well. But where are they?

They are selling well because they are just flying off the shelves when they get them in. But if you're a dealer and you're only getting 4 a month, it's hard to populate an area with V's. If Nissan continues to produce at the same level they are, it's going to take a few years to see as many V's as Matrix's.

So far, I've seen two. A red Versa SL parked in front of an office building when I was going to get my insurance on the car... and a NICE black one driving down US-1, here in Miami, FL. So, counting mine, that's three Miami Versas that I know of, so far.

Saw my first Versa on the road today (other than mine). I was driving out of an underground parking lot in downtown Toronto and was right behind a white Versa.

Silly... but it was a bit of a thrill to finally see another one on the road!

I saw one yesterday and another today. That makes about 6 now.....or it could be only 3 being recycled. Also...went thru the McD's drive thru today (yeah I know) and the girl at the window says "nice car you have there...is it a Nissan?" I said yes she says I love Nissans. I said thanks drive thu girl. Then I drove thru.

I saw a silver one last night around 0200 hrs. it was an S, I saw turn onto the interstate from exit 100, and I had to catch up. I lingered infront of him for a bit (gotta give him a chance to look at my baby), I honked and then exited the I.
