I played Halo 2... I was not impressed. More of the same stuff, except less fun.

Halo was not that great...more repetitive and irritating than anything else.

I have been having fun with Halo 2 though. The coop mode is very fun. There are some major issues with bump-mapping in cinematics...can't believe it shipped with them. But its fun so far. I just wish they would get rid of the damn flood and stop with the "Giant elevator" levels.

I played it for about 4 hrs of multiplayer today, my buddies have been playing it for about 24 hrs and have 90% of the game done. Its "hella fun"... but just because you can play with ALL your friends

You know...I really don't care all that much about Halo either. I just picked it up because its a fairly fun looking FPS. Beleive it or not, you aren't the only person who doesn't eat, drink, sleep, and pee Halo.

heh...I've been watching the special features on the collector's edition DVD...the partially animated, non-textured deleted cinematics are quite entertaining, especially since the voice work is done by the developers and sounds rather...bored.

The first one started on Xbox and then an eternity later it came out, vastly improved courtesy of the geniuses at Gearbox Software, on the PC.

One thing I was concerned about was what they would do with the story. The first Halo unfolded perfectly (except for that third quarter part) and ended great.

So far, I think the game has a great story. Its kept me very involved and waiting to see the next cut scene. I just started to play the covenant guy. Pretty interesting twist. Im three hours in and am enjoying it thouroughly.

I liked Fable, which is only on Xbox.

Fable and Halo are the reasons I bought a (used) xbox.

one of the things that upset pc users off the most was that HALO originally started life out as a PC game, but then microsoft new it would sell there new console so they brought it to xbox, and then year's later it finally came out for PC.

ive played through both halo's and in my opinion it is a good game, its lots of fun in coop and multiplayer,

BUT it definatly does not live up to its hype, the critics are right, the campaign isnt all that great, the story is not quite all there, the ending was pure rubbish

MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS THAT: storywise, halo 2 is only like halo 1.5 its like only half a fricken game! the "ending cut scene" just seemed like another one of the other cutscenes in teh game, these cutscenes were transitions back and forth between the 2 playable characters, and just as the "final" cutscene showed, i thought i was going to be transitioned into playing as the master chief again , but instead of more play, credits rolled

Just keep moving around you'll find your way out. My friends and I blew past the first few areas no problem.

You have to be a fan of console FPS games to really love Halo 2. While the campaign mode isn't that great and the story may leave you hanging, you'll probably sit there for about 5 minutes before you turn to your buddy and say, "xbox live time?". From there it's all uphill. The multiplayer is awesome and the lag is non-existent.

Halo 2 gets an A+ in my book, if not just for the fact that I'll get 300 hours out of the multiplayer alone.

I am Sinister, Jester, or JesterTLS. I may see you on there in a few weeks. My friend is getting High Speed Internet and x box live in a week or so.

anyway, I think I will go to walmart here in an hour when I get off work and see if they have a copy. If so I will start practicing. I loved what I played.

And as good as the campaign was on HALO the Multiplayer was always the hook. The regular game is just practice for Death Match, anyway.

Not for a long time. Bungie has not even started working on Halo 3 yet. They said they're going to take a break and make a different kind of a game for their next big project.
