MGS3 theory time: Who thinks all this 1960s stuff is really about Big Boss, and that MGS3 will actually continue the "Patriots" story line from MGS1-2. (I hope it does).

BTW, I think I'm officially Halo 2'd out. How long can one play Halo 2 on a big screen before complete brain drainage. mmmmm it was about 11 hours straight. Only pausing to refill the iced coffee.

Well, since you are thread stealing and I am a post whore... I feel compelled to enter my 2cnts.

The story of this upcoming game is most likley going to be comopletely a remake of an older snake game. Should star Big Boss, and display his story and how the current snake(s) came to be.

Should be good.

this game feels wayy to long for me to finish. And whats up with the godamn mazes where you end up looking for a door to realize 30 min later it was behind you

I loved the game. I'll probably get Xbox live soon to play around online. The campaign was shorter than the first, but perhaps understandibly since they decided not to use the same maps and run through them backwards. And actually, considering many of the scenes from the trailer were not even in this movie, I'm thinking Halo3 is pretty much going to be the rest of this game. I speculate they ran out of room on a single DVD and/or they decided with such a long game, they could split the game up and make more money, so it may have already been developed for the most part. Perhaps that was the reason the original release date was pushed back so far. Who knows. Almost as bad as Matrix 2 and the Lord of the Rings movies as far as cliffhangers are concerned.

This game is starting to feel just like the first one. I'm finding all the things that made me despise Halo in Halo 2. I'm thinking its time to return this game.

Insanely repetitive levels? CheckTerrible, horrible, what the hell AI (enemy AND ally)? Check...and check.Lots of really big bugs that should not be there? CheckA game that is no where near finished but shipped anyhow? CHECKHorrible vehicle controls that just make things more irritating? CheckThe same thing over and over and over and over? Check.

However, amidst all this bullcrap that Bungie should have fixed before shipping, there are a few redeming qualities. The coop is fun. XBL can be fun (but not always). It's fun to point and laugh at all the things that aren't finished in the game yet. The story is actually pretty good. The elite sword. They fixed the Banshee so it is actually flyable. And a few of the weapons are just fun to use. The tanks are fun.

I finished it.

WHAT THE ****!!??

The whole damn game was stupid, save for a couple fun attributes.

I'm gonna trade it in on tuesday when I pick up a game that should actually be fun: Half Life 2. Forty bucks toward the Collector's Edition. Toward what will likely be the greatest game ever made. Versus the most annoying, repetitive, stupid, buggy, not-even-near-finished, unimaginitive, unoriginal game ever. Damn...what a decision.
