I liked the GT-R look. They were a little harder to put on because you have to get the two holes lined up perfectly. My plans were to black out my entire car. Black rims, paint the housing of my headlights. So i didn't want the red and while holes anymore. Then i totaled up if i get rims then i need lowering springs and it all became too much. plus college stole all my money.

Definitely a tough install, even for a professional......the key is heat and patience. Its taking about an hour per light, but after seeing the first one on, both the installer and myself said it is TOTALLY worth it.......cost to have them put on? $80.....

I finally gave up on mine, threw em away, went to Autozone and got some taillight spray and painted them. They're more of a Matte black color which I like. Total cost was like $10 or so considering I bought some tracing paper to trace/cut out a circle for the reflectors.

I`m just going to throw it out here but you guys that are having issues are trying to install them dry aren`t you.... wet them, apply with creditcard so you can work the air bubbles out. Then dry with heat gun or blow dryer. Did the same thing on my old civic headlights and tails.

Edit: I forgot to add its much easier with the lights out, any slack u can hide around the edges.

Cheers.

Poor muffin, that was an example. I've done current gen Civic Sis, Corollas and others as well; Don't make it sound so difficult. Just because you had to pay doesn't mean others have to.

I completely agree with you on that Last statement, I wish I didn't have to pay to get them done...and I'm not at all trying to get ppl to go to shops and use their money on getting this done, I'm just saying I had trouble doing it and that I did however help my friend do his civic and accord and they seemed alot easier at least, to me. And I'm not challenging you at all on this topic, just going on personal experience

Negative, I lathered those bad boys up and after 45 minutes of complete fail on the install, I tossed them. I could never get the stupid creases out of them. Everytime I tried with a CC, I'd come close to tearing the vinyl itself.
