The H2 blows goats in my honest opinion.
You know, I've been to some pretty weird places in Internetland and I've never actually seen anything blowing a goat...

H2.

People don't even pronounce Escalade as such. Now it's Exscalade. I've done plenty of driving in both and have done plenty of wheel/tire packages and even lowered some ExScalades, and the Exscalade is for your pimping missions, the H2 for everything else. Seeing market reaction and how the public chooses to steal the Exscalade from parking spaces everywhere, I'll def take the H2, even in yellow if I had to

I'd probably go with the H2 too. It just looks mean with a brush guard and some off road lights.

What's the difference between the two, really? They're both exaggerated Chevy Tahoes.

I remember watching a video of an H2 offroading, and the front axle snapped into 2 clean pieces.Very amusing.-Kev

repo lies....he goes to the "lonely farmgirl/boy" sites all the time...

I vote Escalade because you have no urge to offroad at all. Thus you won't be disappointed when it breaks

Escalade EXT for me.

My friend has a pearl white one with 22s, Alpine TVs in the head rests, an Alpine pop up TV in the dash, and a PS2 under the rear passenger seat. Makes you feel like nothing when you get out of it. No girls. No nothin.

Id have mine in black, 22s or 24 in black chrome rims w/a polished lip and a nice dish. There will be a few stereo niceties of course.

first off...Jesda, thank you, that was nice.

And, if I had the money to buy an H2 or an Escalade, I am sure I would have the money to fix anything that broke, cause I would prolly do it myself. So, in turn, the H2 and/or Escalade would get plenty of off-road time, because, when it is listed as an SUV, I am going to make sure the "utility" part of the title gets used. I would take both of those things through the Tough Truck Challenge, the Rubicon, who care...I would rag the hell out of one of those, just because no one else wants too...and because I can. Hell, they prolly suck arse off-road anyway...My S-10 Blazer would have stood a better chance in the mud than those overpriced toys...

Both do indeed suck off roading. The Caddy has the traction control system that makes it freeze up in sand. Car and Driver mentioned it a while back, I think. The H2s also suck at off-roading. I'd go for an Excursion, which has it beat in everything but ground clearance. mmm... turbo diesel...

Forced to choose between getting one of those two obnoxiously large GM luxo-barge SUV's, I'd take the Caddy, as it's far less conspicuous. In this area, H2's are bought formostly for image. Of course one might wonder if a guy that buys a vehicle so big and loud looking as an H2, might be trying to compensate for something else that's smaller than average (ahem). But If I were going to buy a large GM made SUV, I'd save many thousands of dollars go with a Suburban or Tahoe.

Id go for the escalade but not the ext. My neighbor has a sky-something blue h1 with a lot of extras they put on themselves because they own a shop. I might try to post some pics up later.

Which front axle? It's an IFS chassis.

I've seen the H2 being jumped right before my eyes. I've also seen Dana 60's with detroit lockers snap under load offroad. I've snapped drivelines going offroad. That's what happens when you go offroad.
