First: My post was not intended to be a jab at Matt. It was more of a "don't anyone else jump in here and say crazy shxt" sort of post. I didn't want it to go there, because unfortunately, many yahoos don't read the whole thread before they post. They just read the last response, get a burr up their a55, and write a bunch of nonsense.

^^Both your punctuation and your physics are off.
480sx wrote:You have proven time and time again to not really be that closely aligned with the 'mainstream democratic establishment'. So, why are you speaking as if you know them, or simply speaking for them?

I mean all that is just your opinion and speculations based on your version of reality.
^^A.) Reality is objective, there are no "versions". You are referring to individual subjective perceptions of the single objective reality.

B.) Indeed, it was an opinion. I don't recall stating that it was a fact, and 'twere it a fact, I'd have likely provided a link or other citation.

I was merely trying to clarify that just because a few wacknut legislators suggest doing a silly thing doesn't mean that the entire party establishment that is home to said wacknut legislators supports that silly thing. It isn't a terribly controversial point and it's one that I think that most reasonable people would agree with.

Apparently, something about the way I choose to make points bothers you.

"What other BS proposals have been plopped in for consideration over the last xxx years?"

Bipartisan question
Was watching the news the other day and some other stupid crap came up like recognizing some college volleyball team that won their championship and other inane BS. Maybe these politicians should start reading the papers on UH, stimulus, C&T instead of wasting their time on bogus crap....

Hey, hey, hey. C'mon now. When I was in high school, my football team won the state championship and our representative recognized us on the floor. My name was said on the floor of Congress. Yeah...

But I agree with you.
