And through this whole thread you have never proved anyone fabricated anything. That is my point. There is no proof.ishkabibble wrote:
Like 480sx said, the facilitators need to be held accountable. Otherwise a precedent is set and it's just going to keep happening.
I almost never hear anyone ***** about Clinton. And the Dems never turn the other cheek either. If anything, they are more vicious, and the justify it by calling the Repubs hypocrites, which they themselves also are.ishkabibble wrote:Of course, the right will whine to no end when a leftie does something rather than say "let bygones be bygones". In their world, bitching about Clinton is a daily occurrence, yet "Bush isn't President anymore, drop it".
This was admitted. Exactly. IF they had fabricated a war, why not fabricate the evidence you needed to justify it then? Why say "We were wrong."??ishkabibble wrote:There were no significant quantities of WMDs found. As admitted by the Bush admin, there were no operational ties between Iraq and Al Qaeda.
I was against the war. How many times do I have to say this. I have said two things in this thread.1. The US had a long history with Iraq and there were many legitimate reasons for invading Iraq that go back long before GWB. Including an assassination attempt on a US President. 2. There is no proof that GWB fabricated a reason for the "use of force".ishkabibble wrote: If you are OK with attacking based on flimsy evidence, you are OK with attacking pretty much any country in the world on a whim. Scary.
I don't know where you are getting this idea that I am for the "use of force". I am for finishing what we started properly. We owe that to Iraq.
What?ishkabibble wrote:For people who are concerned with the government spending a few bucks on safety nets because they "are going to be rich someday", they sure are fine with throwing away trillions on mistakes.
And the VOLUNTEER military that went over there were ok with it. If they weren't, they took the wrong job, that's their fault. Besides, as I have stated before, and you can't seem to realize, the Iraq "use of force" was about far more than 9/11. 9/11 was the icing on the cake at best.ishkabibble wrote:For people who are upset over losing 3k American lives on 9/11, they sure are OK with losing 4k+ American lives and maiming tens of thousands.
