hey guys, for us college students, it is not very easy to save up a lot of cash, so lets list some mods you can do for under a 100, so i can feed my mod-bug even though im broke. ill start

1) Z-Tube (sounds badass)2) Design Chaos Throttle Body Spacer (im getting it this friday) , btw everyone should get these.3) stillen look a like engine damper (works like the stillen, costs like ebay)4) Grounding Wires (a little over the budget)- Nate, reduce your price 5) Used 07-08 350z HR Y pipe (get it used from the new g's and z's, much better design than the older y pipes)6) JDM Clear Corners (get the new bump version)7) RHD Battery Cover (get it trimmed to fit like oem)8) ebay test pipes (if you want some cop action) 9) Ebay Oil Catch Can ( i dnt know if this catch can really catches anything, john will let us know)10) 5/8 Blox Spacer ( a spacer is a spacer) 11) magnaflow muffler (can get it at any muffler shop, ur gona like the drone)12) KP Tech windows up module (badass, i show this to every car that is faster than mine, and they are amazed)13) momo or other aftermarket shift knobs (IMO stick with stock)14) Aluminum AT Pedals for the sedans, that werent shown any love by NISSAN15) spark plugs ( u wanna change it every 60k atleast)16) Royal Purple (this ones for Jacko, im thinking of using it after a year, when i do my next oil change.17) ebay headers (ask cheapazz)18) circuit sport front tie bar19) circuit sport rear tie bar20) gt spec later bar( if you want some clunking action)21) samco hoses (trying to catch me ridin dirty)22) pi-thon silver caps ( they dress up the engine bay really nice)

Now we come to mods that give around 12whp and 10 trq each. dynoed at church automotive in CA. He uses dynapacksstickersblacking out grill, rims, calipers, tailights, headlightdebadgesmoked tailsand some more stickersteering wheel, seat, car covercargo net

Alrite guys, i was super bored and i think this thread is the best modding advice anyone can give. btw if anyone wants to know anything about any of these mods, dnt ask me. lol. u guys can add more mods if you like, but you have to maintain the heights of my writing skills.

Let me know how the throttle body spacer works for you. I had it in mind but i backed off since our throttle bodies are a bit temperamental.

Anyway, for $100 anyone can get a K&N Air filter and Royal purple Oil and they would be just fine. This, in my opinion, will be the best $100 anyone can spend and still get some decent gains.

yea it seems like no one wants to get the tb spacers, but ive realized that design chaos is the only one out there that gives any real gains, because of its design. i just met the fastest na sedan in U.S atleast, and he has one as well. trying to learn from the pros. btw i did put royal purple in the list.

What effects did you get from installing a throttle body spacer???? Any significant impact???? Was it worth it, as far as modifications are concerned??

Throttle body bypass. If you live in hot climate. If you live in the cold climate you still can do it just have to build in a valve( not to forget to open when the cold coming).

Ghetto airbox.

These 2 should cost maybe $20. You have $80 to spend on something else.

The reason for the TB spacer is the angled inlet into the plenum. This effectively allows air to flow smoother into the plenum. On the DCE TB spacer you will see that it has grooves which allows for maximum air displacement similar to a venturi ring stack on a intake.

I like the mod. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong. Try it out, if you don't like it you can sell it.

Like most mods, maximum overall effectiveness is obtained when used in conjunction with other mods.

Well since zozo mentioned ghetto air box... here goes...

If you're into drag racing, you can remove your belts, add ice bags around your manifold, advance timing, remove air filter, bypass TB as zozo mentioned, add heatshield insulation around your feul lines, headers, etc.

NOS fuel additive (octane booster) good stuff.

You can add wetter water to your coolant. 40 / 60

10 - 20mm spacers for wheels (depending on offset)

You can buy 15" wheels, and get some drag radials but that takes $.

Custom work is always fun, and can yeild results, playing with different configurations can be helpful in finding the best solution... for example, I tried over 4 different intake setups on my G. I tried without heatshield, with foam filter, foam and sheild (crap), upgraded heat shield with Fujita intake, and now I'm just back to Fujita with the stock elements of the intake to bring in the cool air...

but I'm planning to add a Corvette dual CAI intake next... just need room for the electric fan upgrade. Most important, you can buy the "Chips" on ebay for 60hp + and 60+ torque for $20.

No, that would still entail having fat women in your car.

Find some dimes and fill to capacity Fat, and I mean obese women have ugly faces too. They can't hide their chins. lol

And Geez, we're trying to look at cheap mods, not ways to spoil the G's suspension.

OK I'm done, and for the record, I've done a fat girl once in the back seat of a corrolla.

Never again

FYI,

I did an install on an 09 FX35 who had the Active Tuning wires on it. Know why I did an install on a car that already had wires? Wanna guess? Come on! Just a quick guess?

Because they had NO effect

Active tuning's kits are generic with generic instructions and generic lengths (which don't fit the FX btw).

They use over engineered wires and I can't believe anybody actually buys their crap.

On a side note. You can always get a kit similar to mine from Grounding Gear for...$180-$220. Same quality. Same benefits. Twice the price. 4-5 times the wait.

There are some BBW or fat women who can/will rock your world in bed. In fact, they can be better than many of those thin coat hangers who think they are all of that, and that the world should worship them. The uglier a woman is, the better she is in bed and the more willing she is in getting busy all the time. The prettier they are, the more they are obsessed with thier looks and the less they feel like they have to perform or make you happy. Stay away from pretty women---you will be disappointed at some level with them and they are usually unhappy within regardless of their fake smiles. Look for moderately good looking, intelligent, faithful woman.

You know what they say. She is not ugly you just did not drink enough. LOL

I've never been with a fat chick and I'd like to keep it that way.

My wife is 112lbs. She is getting fat. She used to be 110 before my son was born. 14 years ago. LOL

Wait till Telco chimes in and load up the picture with 2 giant chicks on the ford pick up. I remember a year ago or so he had that "cool " picture.

Back to the thread. I think the ghetto box and the throttle body bypass is the best bang for the buck.

Coolant bypass. The system as it is now is designed to pass "warm" coolant through a metal tube where the TB is to keep the TB from freezing shut in extremely cold weather.

In places like SoCal where it drops below 32 degrees once every 10 years, that system is pointless and only serves to heat soak the intake and rob us of power.

What he says. It is really common mod in other cars. Looks like nobody does it here. Basically you not trying to warm up the air even more than it is.

Also you can do it even if you live in the cold climate but have to install a valve so you can open it when it gets cold(coolant will circulate). It should give you more balls than any other small mods. Basically it is free or cheap to buy a few items.Quick search brought this. It is same princpal on the G.
