That was one hell of a wheelie. He juked the wheel while in mid air though, and didn't juke it back when he landed.

there wasn't any swearing when he crashed, just put it into park, took off his gear, said "i'm ok to someone" and got out. must not be his money.

First thing I noticed as well. Pure driver error. Can't say I blame him. When the car starts pulling, you turn the wheel. If its your first wheelie, I can imagine it being a bit scary.

Not necessarily. Its a race car, a toy, not transportation. The mentality is different. If you're worried about wrecking the car/blowing the motor/whatever, then you can't give it everything. I stuffed the rally car hard a few months ago. My reaction was the opposite of what I expected. Its just a car, and it can be replaced/rebuilt. Crashing is part of racing. Every time I have wrecked I'm mad at myself first for screwing up. That kind of anger is silent. At least in my experience.

I bet he had plenty of choice words as things were going to hell though. You just can't hear it over the car.
