Guide on replacing hatch?

Anyone got a guide on replacing the hatchback on a 2+2 ? My old hatch has spoiler holes from a ripped out spoiler it looks like. I got a newer one just need to replace

I've seen that one but ive heard you don't have to drop back the headliner. Im just trying to get a few opinions on it before i go at it.

You dont have to drop the headliner completly, but do need to put it down to access the 2 bolts for each hinge.
Most of the interoir on the hatch need to come out for the struts. THis thing is effing heavy, prob need three set of hands, or a hoist of some sort.

So how much head liner do i gottA DROp? Can you show me some pics or maybe tell me how to get it out

Pull the side and bottom (the one that covers access to the TBL). Under the side covers, you will find a place to unplug the TBL on the driver's side, and the heater on both sides (a plug and a bolted ground). Then unplug your washer sprayer hose. Have your buddy hold the hatch up and unscrew the struts. Then I used a ratcheting wrench (12mm) to pull the 4 bolts off of the Hatch side of the hinge.

And yes, it is very heavy
