Well I worked from home today because I knew they were coming in. OMG, they are more sexy than the pictures! I will have them installed on Thursday, possibly, but we'll see. My lights are being shipped out to Brandon and I'm having surgery the next day so I figured I'll have time to kill and spend some "quality" time with the coupe

Well here's the next upgrade for the coupe! enjoy!

The Rear Rotors:

Side by side comparison:

Goodridge "G-Stop" SS brakelines:

Stillen rear sway bar:

With this setup and the upcoming coilovers, the I'm sure this car is going to handle incredibly!

I will do a write up and post that on the brakes section of the forums. I just wanted to share with you guys first! BTW, changing brakes is pretty straigh forward but if there is interest in a write up, let me know and I'll take progressive pictures along the way and post that up as well.

Come on now. You don't really need all that stuff. So why don't you just send it to me for an early christmas present.

So how much did everything cost you, and when can I come over and pick some bills off that money tree?

Well the cost was greatly reduced, thanks to Stillen! It was still alot but if you look at the overall picture of the cost of other big brake kits, this was a great purchase. I'm sure it doesn't beat Loop's price for his Rotora brake kit which was a whopping ZERO!!! LOL, I'm not hatin loop!

Josh and I actually drove our blue coupe to the stereo shop on Friday to pick up one of the SEMA vehicle's and MAN THESE BRAKES ARE AWESOME!!!!

Every time I drive a car equipped with AP's I am amazed at how quickly they slow the car down.

I'm glad we were able to work out a good deal for you bud! I know those calipers are going to look sick with your color combo.

In some aspect I have to agree with you but seeing that you live in Rio Dell Ca, I'm sure you don't have 250lb deer running across your highway. Believe me, I've hit deer before and skidded on the road as well as in my pants! I've invested too much into my vehicle to chince out on the brakes. The APs are reported to cut 20 - 30 ft off of your overall stopping distance. In a panic stop situation, whether in the Ca freeways or the back roads of PA where I live, that can determine whether you hit that object in front of you or not With that said, yes they are expensive but are they worth it? I guess we'll find out. One thing for sure though, These things are mad sexy!!!

I thought DOT 5 brake fluid was not recommended for cars with ABS. I recall reading that somewhere.

GEEZ!

Nice grab dude!

I couldn't afford these, even at our discounts. Had to put the money in the turbo first

The stock brakes slow the car down just fine for the turbo

Thanks Blake and I'm sure that the stockies stop the coupe just fine but I haven't seen any coupes around here or on the forums with a BBK so i figured I'll be the first coupe to do it.

The turbo is on hold for now until either SFR or some other company figures out how to cool down the CVT adequately without blowing some pressure valve.

I think th AP kit looks good... everything except the color of the front rotors... I just don't understand why they can't make them the same color as the rear rotors
