I agree with you but the rotors are made by two different companies hence the different colors. I'm sure if AP Racing made the rear rotors they'd be the same color but 4 times more expensive I'm sure. My rear Pads and Motul brake fluid is coming in on Tuesday from Stillen so most likely I'll be getting these bad boys installed either Wednesday or Thursday of next week

Robert keep in mind, these are just a coating to prevent rust and the like. They only look like that out of the box.. the minute the pad hits them that coating is gone, and they are all silver.

If you're talking about the edges, those will end up with brake dust on them, again you'd have to be staring at them always to notice the difference.

OK,...Made it through surgery and boy am I hurting!

Back on track though, my Motul Brake Fluid and rear pads should be arriving this Tuesday I'm going to bring it to the shop either on Wednesday or Thursday. Not sure yet but I'll be taking a lot of pictures and since I just had cervical spine surgery, unfortunately, I won't be able to help my buddy out. Probably bleeding the brakes (me in the drivers seat) will be the only thing I will be able to do. I just hope I don't get pulled over driving without headlights on the coupe

If you had spine surgery, I doubt you will have the power to bleed brakes. You have to push that pedal pretty hard

I would have to agree with you Blake but I don't think that will be an issue...Already had lumbar surgery about 2 months ago and I'm pretty healed up from that so I don't think me pushing on the brakes is gonna hinder me...at least I hope not. If it does, there's other guys there in the shop that can help out

Well I got it installed today and here it is. The Big Brake kit is awesome and it stops very aggressively. Driving home it squealed like a SOB as the the new brakes were mating to itself but when I got home, ALL of the gold finish was gone just like Josh said, and all was left was a purdy silver finish!

The SS hoses took away the spongy feel and I'm sure in a panic stop, there will be NO fading. So here's pics of the BBK on the Dangeris coupe.

BTW, I also did a write up on it as promised and that can be found by following this link:

Here's a pic before(after the install)

Here's a pic after I rode on them for a couple of miles...

Hope you guys like it! I think I'm the first coupe in the US at least with these AP Racing Brakes

Wait until you bed-in them even more. You will love the stopping power.
