Now I really have to finish up this turbo project.

Why so low you ask?

Well, the only things I can think of are those small exhaust leaks, running rich - slightly leaky injectors & walbro pump - but even then that wouldn't make a dramatic difference. No afr read outs cuz my $40 dyno doesn't cover that.

VERY surprised. I thought i was lowballin it hardcore with 111hp. but even with what you said were the causes i wouldn't imagine there would be a drop in power that huge.

Meh your car is as fast as it feels....the numbers mean nothing. On the bright side dropping in even just a fresh motor would give your car a significant boost in power...add that turbo your putting on just think even if your turbo only puts out 200 hp that more then twice what you ot now

I guess you could round 97.54 up to 98hp. Sounds like you need to find some of your problems before throwing a turbo kit on it. Good luck on the turbo kit.

ouch. 98 whp? thats terrible. I was way off. I would be really interested to know what is wrong with your engine. my car is running kinda rich... I wonder if I could make alot more power if I fixed that. My car pulls really hard. I can beat a mustang gt with the ka with intake, exhaust, and some weight removal.

HAHAHA, WCC had nothing to do w/ the hp. I must have done something to cause it, o well. Plus, you don't usually see dyno's of sohc auto's... so maybe this is fairly average??

That's my beef with WCC. They completely overkill the "SHOW" and totally forget about the "GO". They always forget to work on the import part of a car. Instead of spending $20,000 on audio... why not spend $10k on engine, $5k on suspension, etc... and then $5k on audio.. I just don't get it.

Cause it's MTV, and they are just trying to brainwash all these kids that having 20k worth of audio and bodykits is "The Cool Thing" Thats the target audience to most of the damn shows on there.

But im sure anyone here would be happy getting all that stuff for free. I mean you coud have sold most of it and probably bought like an RB or maybe even another car.
