I'd like to know some of the the not-so-obvious differences between these three R32 models and their advantages and disadvantages.I know about the engines, but for example, the advantages of the AWD system in the GTR over the GTS-4, if any.Or which model would be ideal for certain types of competition (drifting, time attack, etc.) and if you were going to use the car for a daily driver, how would that change things? It's sort of hard to put what I'm asking into a simple question, but I hope you see what I'm trying to find out.Thanks.

GTS-T >than GTS4 due to the RB20DET being dogged down by the AWD. The GTS4 does have the advanatage of winter/foul weather driving being that it's AWD.

GTS-T is better for drifting, RWD, GTS4 would be ideal for 0-400 with a beefed up engine, due to it's AWD getting a better launch.

Daily driving, pretty equal in my opinion. If you are out putting the turbo to use, the GTS-4 will eat gas quicker because it's a bit heavier.

As far as the GT-R. Well, they don't call it Godzilla for nothing. I am not positive, but I believe the GT-R uses a computer controlled AWD system, and the GTS-4 is just a standard one. I don't know though, so I am just blowing smoke out my rear.

Well put Neal.IMO I would grab a GTS-4 (cheaper than a GTR) then drop the RB26DETT into it.Homebrew GTR FTW

If you want to drift, get a GTS-t.The RB20 is a stout motor. Add some bolt-ons, upgrade the suspension, and prepare to get tail happy Take it back onto the streets and you have a fairly well behaved road warrior.Parts are more common, and cheaper than the 4WD bits and anything to do with the GTR (Although, the aluminium hood and grill put onto a GTS-t looks pretty sweet)

I wouldn't get a GTR (too expensive) and the RB26 swap wouldn't be cheap either lol, I just wanted to know the differences.I was thinking of getting a GTS-T and then swapping in an RB25 eventually, while just doing breather mods to the RB20 until that time. Now say I wanted to compete in autocross, would the GTS-4 be that much better than the GTS-t?
