I have a 2013 M56xS

Could I run a GTR setup on my car. I would really appreciate your input.

What size tires are you running?

These wheels are from a either a 2009 or 2010 car.

Thanks
Andy

I don't see why not...but not sure on the sizes. The GTR rims aren't *that* wide, so it should be fine considering you're not AWD.

Do the "leg work" on finding the wheel sizes and offsets and then report back for help. I doubt anyone here has a GTR and/or has those wheel sizes memorized.

Front 20x9.5 et45
Rear 20x10.5 et25

I thought I had that on there

I think they would work but would like someone that more experience with wheels and fitment lend a hand.

I really appreciate and help.

If they fit I was going to go with
245 40 20 fronts
275 35 20 rates.

Thanks

As you wait, here is a website I have used extensively. It is nice, as it has both wheel and tire specs on one page and tells you anticipated interference & impact with the suspension components.
https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?wheel1 ... m&scl=50mm

What you can't know is rubbing issues when you go wider, if you're lowered etc... hopefully someone who has actually done this gives you info.

What I, EdBwoy can do to help you, is to take your sport wheels off your hands after you get the GTRs. It's alright, no need to thank me yet.

EdBwoy,

pm your cell to me and we can see if we can come up with deal. ICab say that my sport wheels are pretty much flawless.

Let me know

I spoke to OP outside of here and expressed my concerns with the specs. The rears would stick out quite a lot, and the fronts would be a little closer to the strut.
He told me he got a rear wheel to test and sure enough, it stuck out about an inch out of the rear wheel well.

The way to go would be to get a full set of GTR front wheels.

I'm running 20x11 +28 on 285/35 in the rears... works perfect with some negative camber. The OP will have to make a decision on whether tire lifespan is an issue for him.

Ok,

Me personal, I don't want to make this a make work project on my car.

Being is a daily driver and I live in a heavy snow state so I'm not willing to slam a car to get the desired effect to cram wheels under my car.

My23, what was required to get those wheels to fit, I'm just curious, no judgment I do love that look.

Is not for me, those wheels stick out about an inch past my rear quarter and just not wanting to do it.

Andy

My only regret is I didn't buy them to sell them here or on other social media.

To fit

Andy

Do you have pictures showing the view, say from the top and front/ rear?

just so you guys know... that is not my car with the GTR wheels. I simply attached it so you guys can see that it's been done before.

as far as my personal wheels... nothing special was done to make them fit. our cars do not have camber adjustment so after lowering the car on BC coils, whatever negative camber it created was enough for my wide wheels to fit within the fenders. yes, I have negative camber and yes, my tires wear out faster... but my car is fully functional and I'm running meaty tires not stretched tires (commute 80 miles daily). I can fit a full car of people and never rub/scrape and even perform full U-turns with absolutely no issues. Trust me, I am the last person in this world that likes the "functionless", VIP look.

Beautiful!!! Curious what's preventing you from getting the SPC or Megan camber arms?

Not sure how I missed this thread but yes you can certainly run staggered GTRs, I've done so although I did run slightly stretched tires, 235/40 and 265/35.

MY2J, thanks for the pictures, the rear wheels don't look as poke-y as I anticipated, given the body shape back there.
The stock cars do have some degree of camber as well, but might you know what your current specs are?

Don,
Is your car lowered as well?

MY2J mentioned his specs in the other thread, 20x10 +25, 20x11 + 28 with 245/40 and 285/35

I should have clarified, I was curious about the new camber specs with the suspension mods... but thanks for the front specs too.

It seems you've gotta get the right wheels for the front. The caliper is that close to the spokes, and the stock wheel is already close to the suspension.

no idea what degree camber I'm running... I can't get A arms or rear Megan arms cause I need that bit of negative camber to tuck under the fenders... but thanks for the positive comments guys, respect

So just by putting on the BC'S and an alignment adjustment, that is amazing.

I already have the BC'S NOT on the car yet.

Your car looks amazing, thanks for posting the pics, it's much associated.

What did you do to make it fit?

Would just doing BC'S do the trick?

What size tires did you run front and rear?

Did it require to drop the car a lot? I want to keep it semi normal, no slamming going on here lol.

Let me know

Thanks

I believe I mentioned my tire sizes up above, 235/40 and 265/35.

I can't say if the wheels required dropping my car as I was already lowered at the height prior to installing the wheels. I can say though, once again, that even with the height of my car, getting the back to fit did require some camber

This is something I am definitely looking into doing but not 100% sure it will work.
Back story: I had a 2006 M35 RWD running 370z 19s". The fronts are 9.5 and rears are 10.5. to get the rears to fit flush, because they were sticking out 1"+ with stock tires, I wrapped all 4 with 245/40/19s. The rears were a little stretched but they fit flush, I posted pics of this on this forum some time ago.
I now upgraded to a 2013 m37xs. Since the wheel specs of the 370z 19"s are the same as the GTR rims, EXCEPT they are 20s instead of 19s, my logic would be to do the same thing, to wrap them with 245/40/20s. This will ensure the rears sit flush and more importantly in my situation, since I now have an AWD model, the tires will all be the same size so I should not encounter any AWD issues. Is my logic flawed? Can this work?
