Ok

There is a lot of good info on this thread. I'm sure that I could get this to work but I'm not willing to purchase them with the possibility of me not liking what I might/will have to do. I live in a snow state with a 100 mile commute and don't want to burn tires constantly. If the wheels are still available them I will test fit and go from there.

Tires, you can run a staggered set of tires
245 40 20
275 35 20

With no issue to the awd setup.

Did you find a set of wheels yet?

Andy

I looked and I'm not in any group...is it the M35/45/37/56/Q70 one that is a closed group with 3.9k members?

Nice! I was thinking that 4 GTR fronts would be a perfect set up...

Oh, she is...I have fallen hard for this car. Stillen exhaust, and maybe intake (is the HPS stuff any good?), and I'm done!

Paranoid,

Are you wheels a staggered GTR set of wheels.
Did you have to lower the car a lot for fitment and one more question are you utilizing a camber kit?

Thanks

Your car is so damn nice.

They are staggered and it's not lowered. Its 295 tires in the back. (discussed in another thread) It can't be lowered without putting smaller tires on the back and even then it's super tight fit with that offset.

Don't think you will need those if you do an intake as most intakes are solid tubes already.

Thanks for HPS feedback. I always enjoy giving credit to manufacturers. I mean - if they could add 9HP by a small change in shape, wouldn't they? There are exceptions, but I am hesitant to buy into bolt ons (except exhaust). And wipeopn is right, it's not lowered, they are staggered, 295 in rear, and would not fit lowered at all....without a fender roll that would look ridiculous and trashy. I like how it sits, little domestic flair with the fat backs.

If I didn't already have them, I would recommend getting 4 of the same rim. I can't rotate my tires front to back, or side to side (they are directional). Given the choice, unless racing it, get 4 of the same rim and tires you can rotate. I'm looking at over 2k every 30k miles. Done right with 1" difference skinnier in rear, that changes to about $1200 every 60-80k miles with rotations and harder tires.

Ok guys; kinda intrigued by this pic. Been talking to one of the FB group guys about buying these wheels. It's staggered and looks like it fits and tucks a little with 285 tires. :wtf2: All previous discussions and measures say this shouldn't work.
