hell if i know. shouldnt there be an option to do either audio and either subtitle? i would think so. it just came out 2 days ago, so whatever it is, it's new to retail.

give it a try. when i watched it i really enjoyed the stories it told, and its interesting technical discussions about cars and driving technique. it's just told through animation instead of live action.

p.s. for slightly more than the price of 3 BestMotoring DVDs (~$30) you can get the entire InitialD series. i got a the entire set from my local Japanese video shop for $100 (subtitled)

p.p.s or you can download them all from a P2P network :D

Thats not a bad deal at all, considering theres Stage 1, 1-26, Stage 2, 1-26, Stage 3 the movie, and Battle stage,.Its a really good story line, its like an actual regular show, but about cars, there is love in it, theres drama, and the action is all int he races. Personally i lvoe the series.

And yes im getting all of mine on P2P:ylsuper

P2P is a peer to peer sharing network, such as Kazaa and Limewire, check out http://www.kazaa.com or http://www.download.com to see mroe about them. It just a program like Napster to download Documents, Music, Videos, pictures, and software. and theres no catch at all, IT FREE.

haha, i'd say there's a small catch... much of the content is copyrighted, and by downloading it (in the US) you're violating copyright laws.

well too late. i just opened it. good enough for me. besides, i just read the back of the case and it says it contains both the classic version (japanese audio with original video) and the "tricked out version" (english audio with enhanced video.) why wont they allow japanese audio with enhanced video? oh well.

i'm pretty computer literate too, i just have a messed up system BIOS question. noone (MFG tech support included) could help me out. they're pretty dumb anyway.
