I'm issuing a challenge! I don't know how many of you out there play GT3, but I'm challenging all who do. If you don't play GT3 or don't have a clue what the hell I'm talking about, just ignore this thread. The best time I can get in Midfield Raceway with my S13 is 1:10:700. TRY TO BEAT THAT!! Haha...you can use any silvia, 180sx, or 240sx other than the s15.

easiest way i hear is to get a wheel.. however i jusst set the buttons so that the right joystick is my acceleration when pressed up and brake when down. from then on its about tuning and knowing what the car will do when you start to slide it. i have spent a long time adjusting my 86 to get it to where i can slide any corner. its funny when my roomies and i race! they take a traditional line and i just drift around them... however sometimes i piss them off and they just run into me and spin me out....l booo cheaters! LOGAN if ya want more specifics just say so and ill try to help ya as best i can!

i tend to just get the 1.5 or 2 way seeing as i know nothing about how to set a diff. there are sites online that can help you with that kinda stuff but it doesnt really matter to me that much so i just stick with the other ones. i havent heard anyone say that it is that big of a difference from the full customization to the preset ones so i dunno.. personal preference i guess!

ok, if you want to drift like a madman, get simulation tires. i did this on my 86 shigeno version and it owns. i set the tcs and asm to 2 and 1, it is the ****e. i suggest you try it (tuning the hell out of it helps also)

Take off the TCS and ACS. Turn them to zero and your car will loose traction. I love to drift in GT3

240sx type x type J rules. Though it confuses me. I though 240sx's were not sold in Japan, and since it has the sr20det in it, should it not be called the 200sx type x? Aside from that I thought the only type x was the 180sx type x correct?

i use racing mediums in front and normals in the rear on my 86 shes got about 253 na hp and that seems to work the best.. you can still drive her normally but when you wanna get crazy the tires will break if you know how to do it... THINK WEIGHT SHIFTING!!! LOGAN

[/quote] GT3 decided to call the car a 240sx type x in the American version of the game. the Japanese version of the game has it called the 180sx type x. the 180sx's were first introduced with Ca18det so they just stuck with the 180sx name. i am going to go and play the game right now and see what time i can get.

gtvault.com i think... but its cheating in my book... half the fun of that game is tuning your own cars! where is the skill in just reading what someone else took hours to do and then just pluggin it in and runing with it? the challenge should be using your OWN setups and your OWN tuning! who else is willing to give it a try!?
