Crazy, I'll take a couple hours tomorrow and try to beat my 15 minute attempts that brought a 1:13.4 in an S14 K's and 1:13.9 in an S13 2000cc.

1:11.149 Now I gotta do some adjustments :( Iam not used to high horsepower cars, way too much power. Ill probley switch to a 2 way LSD or fully customized, and better gears!!! I think(know) I can beat 1:10!!

i dominated that game, i have nearly 100% complete and all the cars that dont suckif you guys want to try a real challenge, try to see how fast you can make a lap in a mustang svt cobra r with simulation tires and no tcs or active stability management. its friggin impossible, yet so fun.

it seems like none of you use simulation tires, seriously, try them, also, turn the tcs and asm down farily low, 3 or less each, it makes all cars into drift beasts. go try this now. sorry about posting so close together, ima go to sleep now.....

No ASM, TCS at 2 or lower so you get some wheelspin and can accelerate. On my R34 VspecII beast I use no TCS or ASM, it's crazy.

wow, just seen this thread, I'm pretty decent at gt3, posted times on gt3 times and racing line, used to using the Tom's/Denso supra (900+hp is nice!) but I'll give this a try..... I don't cheat, but as a warning, don't be upset!

Sheit, I ran a 1:08 with my s14 w/480hp and the best tires. Every modification done to it. It's a drift setup. Although it doesn't drift too well with super soft's.

NIsmo400R you have to the settings menu for that car and turn the ASM and TCS to 0. Turning off TCS in the options menu turns it off in Arcade i think.

You might wanna try arcade mode, and do everything there is to do there, like beating the computer on lap times. You also might wanna try buying all of the rims, and you might also try beatig ever single race 4 times. to get all of the cars for that one level. Oh yeah, I am pretty sure, that you didnt win those cars with out the help of gameshark or smething like that, thats the only way you can get those two, there are more cars to get, but only on a gameshark. Other than that, if you imported the game from japan and got a mod chip, i would understand. Anyways, how fast have you gotten your diablo? My friend has gotten his up to 900 mph and more, thats jus too fast. Diabglo is the only one you can get it up that high, bisides th escudo. BTW, i got a time of 0.56.126 in my F094/H, tooke m about 5 minutes.

whats the fastest top speed you guys have done. Ive done over 1000 mph in the escudo, on the top speed trial. All i have to say is wide gears.

Im so excited, i get auto modellista this friday. It is pre ordered, and i am # 3 on the list. Then i will get to do some real drifting. Later, Chris

Nismo400R: Yes, it should go "Start, Replay, then Settings." You want to change the TCS and all in the settings.

bp2ooo: wheelie settings - 12xx mph breakthough - 1,000,000 mph maybe higher though i forgot haven't done this trick in some time. Also I'm going to get Auto Modellista either Friday or Saturday next week. I was a beta tester for AM and it was a blast. The handling for the 2 beta's were really different... i wonder which one will be implimented in the final.

Finally got some time to give the S13 type X a run. Best time was 1'11.315

Haven't tried the S14 yet. I'll give it a go here in a bit.

I can't get my SIlvias to keep traction in the back. All my silvias besides the s15 slide all over the place. Anyone else have this problem?

Check the power to weight ratios, for some odd reason the lower the better, I think they mean weight to power. Anyway, the S13 K's 2000cc has the best power to weight. I'm beginning to think I suck though, best time is 1:11.349 after about an hour of trying. I'll try again tomorrow...

yea i did use the gameshark for ONLY those two cars, i just had to have em, and i have bought all the rims, beat all the arcade stuff, got all golds on license, got every car, not neccesarily by beating every race enough times to get em, but i got em, and i didnt mess with the diablo, i jus got the standard 550hp ish version,(that way i can actually race with it) although i have gotten my escudo up to like 16oomph before, and as far as my sylivia, i uesd a modded s14 aero and got 1:10.698 and that was about the best i could get, anyone beat that yet??, i havent checked EVERY post so i dont know, pretty proud of myself, and thanx for the tips

dude after modding the s14 u get almost 5oohp from it, its gonna slide, up the limited slip and ASM or try TCS, although TCS sucks power out of the car, and use diff tires and supension set ups, theres so much different crap that makes a big difference, but TCS is the main thing, if u take a stock, AE86 and turnOFF TCS, itll slide like hell, but i have an 1100hp viper that runs high 9.1 in the 1/4 and is drivable, but without TCS, it would be all over the road

ill have to run my silvias tonight and post some times.

i have every silvia and the sx so i can give times for each of em. just wish they sounded better.

ive run a drift setup on my s15. the big trick is mediums on the front and normals or sims on the back. and turn ASM and TCS off.

9.1sec 1/4 in the viper? thats damn good. my escudo only pulls a 9.2 and the RUF CTR pulls about a 9.23. and my R34 pulls a 9.4

to make 100% you need to WIN all the arcade races on the hard difficulty (if you do it at hard you get credit for the 2 lower settings as well - the 787B or an F1 car seem to be the best for arcade races).

you need to WIN all simulation races and complete all license tests (dont know if you need golds on all of em). yes the S tests are hard but they are doable. i dont know if you need to own all cars. im currently at about 68% complete and ive done about half the arcade races and only have about 5 series left on pro legue and 3 enduros to complete. and i have all the licenses.

how do you get the escudo up to 1000+mph. ive only ever been able to get it up to around 290 or so. and i have 1800HP in it. (figures the most powerful car in the game is only good for test course and super speedway - if you turn up the downforce for the speedway).

who says a 1000hp car is not raceable in this game. i have a 1027hp R34, 1080hp supra, 1053hp 3000GT, 1023hp vette, 1127hp viper, 1180hp zonda, 1150hp toyota GT, 980hp 787B, 950hp s2000, 975hp FTO, 920hp altezza, 958hp ZZ2.

ALL of these cars are perfectly driveable provided you use decent tires and know how to set up the ASM and TCS (i dont even use high settings on either). the street cars are tricky on mediums but drive fine on super softs. on the race cars there is no need for super softs they do just fine on mediums(the ZZ2 also does very well on mediums). the only cars that can be tricky on super softs at 1000+hp are the supra (drift city) and the C5R vette (understeer city).

the tricks for the bigger heavier cars (skylines, 3000GT, supra, vette, viper) is run more camber than you normally would. on the heavier cars i run around 3.5 to 3.8 degrees of negative camber on the front and about 1.5 to 1.7 degrees negative camber on the rear with only .5 degree toe in on the front. this does wonders to combat understeer on the heavy cars even the 3000GT (i beleive that this is the heaviest car in the game) and makes the cars handle pretty neutral. i also tend to run my spring rates very stiff with only a small difference in spring rates between front and rear (this keeps the car responsive but neutral - and just get used to avoiding curbs and big bumps).

on lighter cars i usually run around 3 degrees neg camber on front and 1.5 neg on the back with .5 front toe in except on mid engine cars where i dont run the toe in.

the other major trick to help the more powerful cars is to run taller gearing. ususally in the low 3s on final drive for the 1000hp+ cars. i run 3.27s on my R34 which seems to work well at the level of HP its running. the 3000GT runs 3.08s. the supra runs 3.20s.

i came to these gear ratios by testing on both the 1/4 mile and 1000m tracks. these produced the best comprimise in times between the 2 and you can use the individual gear ratios to adjust for top speed or acceleration on long or short tracks.

BTW why do you like mid field so much? im personally partial to apricot hill (more technical than mid field, rewards driving technique over power, mid field is a power track, and its still a pretty short track, its where i do most of my chassis tuning on my cars). i also like cote de azur (most people hate this track, again very technical and rewards technique over power)
