GT3 Nico Challenge...

2nd run, 1:16.105. About a week ago I finally picked up my PS2 again and started playing GT3. Right now I'm at 95% and have about 173 cars. At one point I had about 12 million after days on end of racing, but that depleted after I decided to buy every single car in the car dealership from every manufacturer from every country. I then proceeded to fully max out the hp of all of the cars, not fully tune, but full hp. i also have a few drift cars, my favorite though is my n/a supra with around 421 hp. its late now, so i'll post some more times tomorrow.

I TROUNCED the strategy guides with their best times on ALL of the rally tracks in my streetcar-turned-rallycar.

I need to dust that game off, at least until NCAA 2005 comes out.

So lets pick a rally track and see who can get the best one-lap time- no vehicle restriction.

Just a little gripe: I HATE picking tires for the long races, especially in high-HP vehicles.

Ok, I worked with the gearing a little bit, and made a BIG improvement. Just made a 1:16.679! Not good enough to beat BB, but I'm working on it...

Wow i need to get you all my memory card... it reads that i have a full garage with just about every car (including my vertigo race car with 36,000 hp (yes you read that right

)). I also have 999,999,999,999 cr. I can go buy whatever i want its crazy. Makes good for those times to just go and have fun. BTW, i can get that vertigo race car to max out the game variables for top speed. Next time we do it ill write down the exact number but it hits like 2x lightspeed. Also, right as i shift into 6th gear, the front end just pics up in a full wheelie and runs, no steering, until it hits something. Its the funnest thing i have ever done

I can do that flying thing with a Scoobie. i did it by mistake and it cost me a huge race.... Oh well. I'll try your challenge, and post my own.

My and my lil bro play. We are at 86 % and really only have a couple of the endurance races left. I have 167 cars, only 13 bought. I win almost all of my cars. i have everything from a Vitz to a F1 Racer.

Yeah, I hate the current challenge (1:28.216, lol), I must say... mostly because I've gotten used to FWD and something I like to call "grip." Even with the TCS on, those damned simulation tires... ARRRR! It just kicks out, I end up drifting half the course. SOOOOOOOOO... for those of us who like grip, a new challenge:

R32-R34 GT-Rs, no special models, only the ones you can buy at the dealership...2 Versions: Turbo Kit 2 max mod (all others whatever you want)orAll out (any mods, incl. Turbo 4)NOT TCS EITHER WAY

(though you shouldn't need it)

at Laguna Seca

So far:Version 2:R34 GT-R V-SpecII - 1:16.112 (set several months ago)R33 GT-R V-Spec- N/TR32 GT-R V-SpecII- 1:20.119 (very beatable)

Version 1:R34- N/TR33- 1:20.908R32- 1:21.213 (both are very beatable)

edit: Oop... well... this is my challenge... JDM will have his own... something to do till then for those fed up with the no-grip-fest...

HOW!? I don't get it. It's been awhile since I played much, so that's part of why I suck right now, but still... so much throttle manipulation... the *** just kicks out all the time. Are you guys really fast drifters or what? I tuned my gearing to what should be perfect and messed with the suspension, LSD, and TCS quite a bit, even the brake balance, and I can't do CRAP with that NSX on sim tires... arrr... I gotta go try it again, despite how fed up with it I am (thus why I posted my challenge earlier)...

Grip... lacking... feeling... strange.... urge...

OH MY GOD I'M STARTING TO LIKE FWD! What is happening to me?

Just for kicks (to measure how badly I sucked with the NSX) I ran my boosted and NA tuned (for once they worked together for more power, weird) Acura Integra Type-R... it was only 6 seconds slower (on sim tires, on super softs I probably would be in the mid-low 20s), yet lags behind the NSX by over 180hp...

Someone save me!

I'm really rusty, but... dang... I haven't played the game much in nearly a year... but... DANG! I can't imagine running 1:15s... I mean I know there was a time I could have, but... right now, no way. I'm happy to run a 1:28 right now I'm so rusty...
