^^^Ditto, Atleast the "Concept" is A**. I've seen some computer generations and pics that people have down, it's like their own personal concept, I think these other concepts look SOO much better, here's my personal favorite, and what I think the new GTR should look like,
a large price to pay for a manual, riding in that horrible looking thing. Cadillac is a luxury marque and it should remain so, an autostick maybe but not a manual would be ok. GM is blurring the lines between it's divisons too much, they are beginning to compete with themselves for market share, I think that is the wrong direction.
if the concept looks anything like the CTS the designer needs to be shot no offence to Cadillac but the CTS is a disgrace to the cadillac name and if a skyline looks anything like it that would make me sick.
ok, so I lied and I searched and I found this link to another automotive forum discussing the same thing:http://www.automotiveforums.co....htmlinteresting thing they point out is that the concept is left hand drive. Also I remember seeing "concept" pics of the new skyline a few years ago and it turned out to be the G35.
i thought the r34 was bulky, but in a muscular type of way, and the r33 were just cool lookin, low and mean, yet wide and aggresive, the r32 had those huge fender wells which made it look very aggressive
i dont hate the motor anywhere near as much as i hate hte style, ever sinve car and driver put out that pic of hte 'r-35' which was expected to get a 'haull *** 4oohp v6 or an even more potent version of the v8 used in the infiniti q45'
the new 2004 nissan GTR (the skyline title has apparently been dropped) will featurea heavily modified VQ35dett engine...twin turbo powered (as previous GTR's have been)offering a brand new updated AWD ATESSA system...suspension will be top of its class as ithas been with all previous GTRs...the engine will be putting close to 390 HP to the crank (ive been told 387 by nissan of america but well wait and see) the new GTR will undergo yet afew more body changes before its initial release in late 2004....im guessing that the front end will changea bit to make it a bit more palatable for the american audience...base price has not beendecided yet for the new GTR (my guess is it will be at least 45k for the new AWD monster)i will keep you guys updated on the new skyline when i find out more information
