i see where you're coming from, but lets get your facts straight. All of the GTRs since the r32 have been nearly identical, hoewver have steadily gained weight over the years and tads more tq and hp. Wether or not the r34 was made to destroy the r32 is controversial, however it was not made to destroy the 4oor what so ever. The nismo4oor was a 4oohp tuned rb26dett motor inside the chassi and shell of a bncR33, explain to me how a 'nearly identical to stock r33 (the r34)' can 'destroy a 4oohp tuned skyline gtr? wont happen. And i agree with you that the v35 is a very nice car, however it is NO more powerful than the z33 (same vq35de motor producing 287hp). And just for the record, i love all skylines, no matter what year, most of them look damn cool especiall for theri time. Also, the v35 doesnt handle any better than the z33, actually, compared to the track model their nearly i dentical, however hte z33 actually outperforms the v35 because of a couple lbs weight difference. The vrh35L motor used in the leMans series r39o GT1 car produced amazing HP figures, however to compete in LeMans a road car version of the race car must be produced also, thats the only reason nissan made the r39o road car, which btw only produced about 35ohp (it was severly detuned since there was no need to actually produce more than one). BTW, nice car you have, any pics?
EDITS: the vq35de used in the G35coupe/v35 skyline is actually rated at 28ohp, 7hp less than the 35oZ.and the nismo400r i mentioned above has a motor officially code named RBX-GT2 which is based off of an RB26 block stroked out to almost 2.8liters(2771cc)
