Hey Hitman, I'll finally have you a pic once I arrive back home. Out of town for now and helping some on Mark's car to get it back on the road again. :) You'll get it within a week or earlier. Promise. :)

yep i autocross. depending on how the course is set up, you may only go up to 2nd gear. there are high-speed autocrosses, usually set up in old air fields where you can get up to 3rd--maybe. i am not sure, as i have not had the pleasure to go to one. usually the courses are tight and short. which is fine, as long as there's a few straights involved, and a slalom! hehehehe

btw, 130k? not bad, what are your plans for it?

yeah...our autocross just sucks bad...nothing really straight at all...

anyways....well first off, i am gonna do suspension, then replace the clutch so i can actually DRIVE IT! ehhe...lol then retint all the windows.....then paint it white with some body work like the dings and stuff.......

well after all these necessary work.....then i will think about what's next...the whole engine swap thing is nice, but that requires lots lots lots of money!

I can't imagine an autocross course where you'd WANT to get into 3rd gear. That makes no sense to me, unless top end of 2nd in a 240 is under 70 mph (and I don't think it is).

I ran some SCCA in the late 80's in a modded CRX HF with 14" rims and stayed in 1st for most of the course, IIRC.

I think you're thinking road course (or something) HKC.

that's why i dont autocross! eheh.. to be able to go to 3rd gear and downshift and maybe even drift corners..... lol

true, lots of money indeed. suspension is always a great place to start. and i'd like tinted windows too this summer, i hate people looking at me when i'm driving. i'm prone to flipping them off because of it. hahha. i jest.

and i hear ya about the paint thing, the rear passenger side quarter panel of my car is primered white... and my roof as well. and it's started to come off AGAIN. i really wish i could afford to paint it. i will probably just get the isolated areas painted. at this point, i don't care if one part is shinier than the other

Ummmm... OK.

BTW, autocrossing is racing. Drifting is... well... playing. Sounds like you need to find a good road course in your area.

TO each his (or her) own. :D

true, AZ, lots of shifting would equal some lost time, but in the high-speed autocrosses, still cone courses, people can get up to that gear, and there's more room to work the car i suppose. i don't know for sure.

and i'd DEFINITELY love to get into road racing, or SOLO 1 at least. the latter being more realistic but would involve me setting up my car to non-street-legal status probably. ho ho ho.:oface

hahah. funny you mention that. i plan to participate some time in the DGtrials driftmeets at englishtown, as soon as i get a pair of cheap tires/rims to borrow or something so i can run! should be interesting...but it's good to know how to control your car in a slide

oh.....well for my car, it's about less then 800 to paint my whole car and do the dings....

then about another 150-200 to tint all the windows.......suspension and clutch....i am gonna do it with some friends ourselves...so that dont cause too much...but i really want my baby to look right at aleast.....

me, my boyfriend, his friend and his friend's girl all have 240's..... and my boyfriend's friend's 240 is a bit rice coz he still got the spoiler on even you can tell it's all messed up....then he put stickers all over his windows.....i mean i am not even doing all that.....

GOOD! go subtle-sleeper-like. i have a few stickers here and there, my dragon on my back window, my 240sx.org sticker, sportline, sticker, and my personal favorite: INEDIBLE-- that's small and on my passenger side of the windsheild.

that's cool you have your own little crew of 240's!i can't even find one person from DE, that has one, who's a tuner not a ricer. my friend's bf told me about a guy with an s14 in his class. but i dunno. he hasn't shown up to the autocrosses lately. he's just dumb or something.

see, i dont mind small stickers..but big ones?! no way! ehhe...

well i dont wanna include them in our little group..we already have like a drifter group that we are thinking about creating with some non-ricer friends...ehe...but we'll see..
