This thread has been here a long time. So, everyone who had their greddy exhaust, what's the final verdict? DO YOU STILL LIKE IT? the added noise is enjoyable or annoying? What's your final thoughts on this?

LOL Wheres the video?

On a serious note, how much should one expect to pay for a cat-back install?

Heard the Greddy in person today on NISSANtonio-3.5SBCoupe, and it is perfect. It looks perfect and sounds perfect, thats all that I can say. The Greddy is really that perfect.

LOL Did you guys have like a mini-meet? Was it awkward at all?

So I guess you dig the blue tips after all, and does it sound close or better than a Z/G?

It actually sounds like e G/Z but its a bit deeper, not 100% alike but it does sound similair. Its a great exhaust.

Since i know my mechanic i got it for cheap, but you're looking at 100-200 for the install.

For the before and after lol.. i kinda rushed to install it but.. i guess i ll have it up asap.

Honestly bro paying over a hundred for a cat-back install is kinda steep.. it cost me a twelve pack of coronas..lol... would of done it myself completely if i had the proper equipment for the raise!.. but what the heck enjoy ur exhaust ..

Yep, I think you definitely over paid. Dare I say it, the dealer might've even been cheaper. Since you know him, maybe you should confront him? Unless the Canadian Dollar got that much weaker.

We had a mini-meet..haha.. It wasnt awkward at all, its real cool to get to talk to someone else who has the car. And as long as everyone is cool, wanting to just hang out and have a good time, all meets are gonna be fun. Matt (FGF) is real cool, we got along real well, n were trying to setup a bigger meet for maryland coupes. He likes the greddy, and after taking a ride in his car, im definitely getting the injen intake.

anyway, the greddy is perfect.. Nice deep tone, authorative but not obnoxious, the tips are nowhere near ricey. In-cabin noise is FAR LESS than i thought, not a nuisance at all. Sounds better than a stock G/Z..but i dont think it has the same sound as the Greddy on Z/Gs..not saying that it doesnt sound as good though, just different from them, unique sound IMO. Im trying to get my cousin who has good sound/video equipment to take a video, hopefully it'll get the real sound.

Yo matt, went to the shop today to look at how my fascias doing, looks F***in sweet bro, its gonna looks so tight on black. theyre gonna sand it and put another coat on and im getting it installed tomrrow. Sometime next week, me, you and the red coupe should all meet up.

We still need more videos? There are a few videos in this thread, but none of them are I4's.

Nah, I am looking for the "before and after" videos...

Video cameras are extremely tough to judge for sound quality and a before and after video would be awesome to better compare the sound effect you get with the Greddy.

The meet was definately not awkward, it actually was a really good thing. I think all the states should have acoupe meets, and maybe start an acoupe club or something like that. Away from talking cars, you meet a lot of cool people that way who also have some of the same interest because you all have acoupe's. Its crazy, at first I just really wanted to hear the Greddy exhaust since I had heard the Stillen so me and (NISSANtonio-3.5SBCoupe) met up, and actually wound up becoming real cool sooooo. The car meet is definately the way to go especially when there is females you feel me.

Aside from that, like Anton said the Greddy is perfect. It has a real good deep tone, that gives the car a whole new powerful feel just from the sound. The sound does remind me a lot of an aftermarket exhaust note on the Z and the G; but not a stock Z or G though. It is deeper, louder and more powerful than that, but definately, definately not ricey. As far as the look goes, the pictures really dont do a lot for it. In person the exhaust really doesnt look as if it is on an angle. I actually cannot imagine it looking any other way. It is again as the sound a powerful aftermarket look. In person the mufflers are not too big at all, the pictures just look that way. The mufflers follow the lines of the car, and the tips fit in the bottom rear perfectly. (not too small, not too big just perfect). In cabin noise is not anything overwellming. It is obviously louder than stock, but not bad at all. (without silencers). At idle there is just a perfect purr to the exhaust( not loud at all again just perfect). The stillen is nice also, but it just depends on preference. I personally would say to anyone who doesnt want the louder exhaust, still get the Greddy for the look, and just put the silencers in. I also drove behind Anton, so I was able to get a good look at the piping when we were going down hills because piping all the way up could be seen. The piping also looks great, and it is clear that Greddy took time making a quality product for our cars because the Greddy just looks like quality, and as if time was put into the fixture for our cars. Oh, and fully debadged with the Greddy makes my man Anton's coupe look so, so clean. But yea we definately should meet with the Red coupe this week and take a lot of pics. I would say next week, but I have senior exams next week so. Cant wait to see the fascia on the coupe homie its going to look real good.

hey vi3t if ur gonna take the silencers out u can do it in like 20 mins (tops) with a 5/16 wrench and a hex key (i bought a hex key set at walmart for $0.94)

by the way the exhaust sounds great on ur car! nice job! i bet it will sound even more powerful once the silencers are removed

Nice viet89! sounds good

Pulling off the silencer you need some type of hook, the picture will give you an estimate how long of a hook you need.

If you have a hook that fits, then no. It may be a little snugged in, so you may need to use some bit of force.
