i will say that my video without the silencers in was a cold start which made it sound a bit raspy.. hey it was 8am and about 40 or 45 degrees and the day after i had the exhaust installed. my experience with greddy that usually when u first install an exhaust thats the loudest its gonna be.. after having it and breaking it in the exhaust note/volume tapers off slightly...and may be a hair softer. i would definitely recommend getting the greddy over anything else right now because of value, performance, quality and design. i mean u cant go wrong with greddy

Sounds great! Just be wary of revving your engine on a cold start next time, let it warm up a little. It changes the exhaust note completely. With that said can we get some more vids maybe with a warm start or in cabin or take off. Don't wanna be a pain, its cool if you don't have the time.

lets hear it with the silencer............ also lets hear it from the cabin. Take your camera in the cabin, place it on the dash and record while you drive down the road.

I am looking into getting my exhaust real soon the greddy does sound sweet but what about the nismo exhaust? Maybe its a no brainer, but I dont have much of a brain when it comes to cars so any advice will be helpful.

And you are? We weren't comparing it to a Z with an after market exhaust, more like stock. Also, thats not even a Ti-C.

BTW That sounds kinda rice.

Removing the silencer is simple. Its 3 bolts and you need a allen wrench and a regular wrench to remove the tip. Next you need some sort of hooking device(something that is long and looks like a J) to pull it out, which may require some force.

i plan on moving to nc... so i decided that the best thing for me would be to re-install the silencers for the 12 hour ride. but i will say this... since ive had the greddy installed...ive driven around without the silencers... and without them... the sound has been very aggresive & powerful. just like loop said u do notice the smooth throttle response without the silencers... and it does feel like more power.... with the silencers in... the sound of the exhaust has been toned down over 60-70% ... and i feel that the sound now with the silencers... is like the stock g35 but definitely without the silencers... the greddy on the ac kills the sound of the g35 and z

to remove or install the silencers... you will need 2 items5/16 wrench and a small hex key... sorry i dont know the exact size as each are not labeled... but it was the 4th or 4th one from the smallest hex key

i bought a hex key set that had SAE and metric measurements at walmart for $0.94 and the wrench i had.

what i did notice was that when u remove the 3 screws from the muffler tip.. the muffler tip is removable... which i didnt expect... but it made it easier to put in and remove the silencer.

total time it took me to install them was about 20 mins ( 10 minutes a silencer)

The tip meaning the blue part, does it look too short w/o it? Also, have you ever heard a Z/G up close and personal? Just wondering, cuz its the sound I want.

LOL At all the promised videos.
