The Greddy M Spec isn't the best out there but unless you are making serious horsepower it won't make a difference. I decided to save a few extra bucks and get the VSPL.

definately good enough for a mild turbo setup. I would upgrade to a blitz lm or hks for a higher end setup.

yea hopefully it is. i picked it up for 350 shipped! great deal i guess. im actually planning on hitting the 400hp mark. i undestand that itz only good up to 350-370hp. but im barely doing the swap so it will take me a while to get there, i will upgrade later though.

Actually according to Greddy it is only good for 300. I'm sure you can push it a little further though.

M spec intercooler kit is very similar to the older RSPL/VSPL kits out in the market. This kit was made for an efficient budget setup with all required hardware and piping. Works great for vehicles pushing less than 300RWHP. At power levels greater than that, we recommend the VSPL or the RSPL kit.

I have the m-spec kit, and it's cheap and proven to work. Like everyone says parts have their limits but i'm happy with mine and I plan on going nothing bigger than a 2871 turbo so it will handle it just fine I think

the spec m is great. I run it and its very wallet friendly. The only difference between spec M and the next level, is the M has no hot pipe(call greddy and ask them, they will say the cores are identical) F*CK Blitz. Its overpriced BS. Dont get me wrong its nice, and the quality is there, and fitment is A++. The Greddy core is thicker. I know. I owned one. I like the Greddy way more. So much more that i have full confidence that it will do well over 400hp for me.

all greddy kits come with no hotpipe and the cores, more expensive ones...i.e. vspl, rspl are defenitly not the same.

M-spec and VSPL+RSPL share two completely different style of cores. Not the same thing at all.

I'm got an M-spec as well, good quality and since I don't plan on pushing more than 300whp it'll be great.

I only plan on upgrading (who knows when) to an S15 turbo, so the kit works fine for me. It is rated to only ~300whp but it's a great match to the stock turbo. I like feeling the endtanks after driving for awhile. The hot side is almost hot enough to burn you, but the cold side feels as though you've not even driven the car yet.

ok so i asked about the quality of the greddy intercooler. now, sorry itz kinda of an off-topic. in the kit it has the right piping (elbow and cold pipe) and the left side has only one pipe. the left (driver) side pipe goes up into the bay. but i noticed it has another piece of pipe sticking out of it kinda tee's its way out of it. correct me if im wrong but, is that supposed to be for the STOCK blow off valve????? if so, wat would i have to do since i got me a greddy type RS bov? i dont want to put the bov there i wanna put it up by the hot pipe.

Yes that is for the stock valve. Just cap it off or get it welded shut.

You need a special Greddy hotpipe. Here it is on 240sxmotoring: http://www.240sxmotoring.com/grcopifors13.html

I'd try to use your existing one.
