Greddy Intake Manifold

I have had the manifold for awhile just haven't looked at it really. Are there gaskets I need to get to install it. If you know please let me know. I appreciate it.

I think there are three. One between the intake and the head, I reused the stock one. Another for the idle control thing, again I reused this one with some silicon. The last is at the throttle body. I couldn't reuse this particular gasket because it ripped so I used silicon and I didn't tighten it down all the way until the silicon set. I seems to work fine.

If you want to be sure, order those gaskets first before starting your install.

get new gaskets, and dont get cheapo ones, manifold vacuum leaks are bad Ju Ju

Thats what I was thinking. Could anyone tell me where I can order these new gaskets.

frsport has all of the OEM gaskets you would need.

you also may want to consider dishing out the extra cash for a thermal intake manifold gasket from phase2motortrend.

ive yet to replace my manifold, still piecing together parts on my setup, but i imaagine any place like phase2, frsport, enjuku, or whoever that sells oem nissan parts, will have everything that youll need. hope this will lead you in the right direction

its my first turbo car. and im not really familiar with turbo cars. I am just wondering if I install the intake manifold, its gonna be more air coming in to the engine, do i need to turn the ecu or do anything else? or it will work fine like that

there is no point in upgrading it unless you upgrade your turbo as well and when you upgrade your turbo you need to retune.

so how do i increase the boost on my stock t-25 turbo since the wastegate is internal?

You get a new actuator or a boost controller.

HKS makes an adjustable actuator that replaces the stock one. The armature on it can be lengthened and shortened to put preload on the actuator, forcing it to require more boost to open. Most of our sponsors carry them.

Other boost controllers work by altering the pressure being sent to the stock actuator, causing it to open later than it normally would.

Just out of curiosity, why did you think that a new intake manifold would increase your boost? That's a VERY odd corrolation to put together

no...i wasnt thinking the intake manifold would increase boost. The reason that I asked because i was thinking intake manifold would add some horse power since it increases more air flow. But I was also thinking how to increase the boost.

It's fairly straight forward. I don't think you need any special tools. Beside, the instructions are in Japanese. The things you might need are:

a coupler between your cold pipe and your t.body because the t.body will change position.

s14 Throttle pulley. I think frsport is selling them now. I got mine on ebay which did not fit. The seller said I install it incorrectly..whatever..I did however rig it to work properly.

and of course gaskets.

I think that is it...hopefully I didn't forget anything.
