April Maybe Ill be on the road...... will be lol.

Jacki what about a park? If they say anything its just a groupe of people meeting and enjoying the park, but there are a ton with huge parking lots and its public recreation space.

You can even turn into a early meet and greet with food drink and cupcakes too

Well I was all set to jump into doing something like this, but I've been freakin swamped lately. Let me know what I can do to help once some details get figured out and I'll promote the heck out of it. Glad to see people are still interested in doing it!

I think a park would be our best bet. It should be nice enough by then that we can enjoy a barbecue.

I was a deprived child so the only parks I have been to are FDR, Neshaminy State Park and Washington's Crossing. I like Washington's Crossing for this mainly because it's off of River Road. It would make for a nice cruise. Anyone second this? I think it's like, dead center of everyone.

It's right on the border of PA and NJ. About 10 miles North on Rt. 29 or Rt. 32 depending on if you're in PA or NJ.

Fairmount in Philly, and CoreCreek in Langhorne are both huge. Corecreek is close to the oxford valley mall, but its huge. And their are many huge parking lots, a lake, all sorts of ball fields and courts and grills.

You can count me in with the LS6, Im gonna source Will to put my rear back together. But I am just about there.

As long as its not super far away, I would definitely try and make it out to this.

I might not be able to go now...I went and bought the 93 I was looking at for a while now, and I'm only 17 so Im on my parents insurane. I already have my Eclipse on it that I have been paying for. I have been acting really stupid with that car so thats why I got a 240 to keep my racing on the track. But I want to for the track/street, and was going to store my Eclipse in storage until i can get it fixed again, and off the insurance. Well....parents wont let me I bought the car and they told me its never hitting the streets. So yeah maybe I can change their mindset later I dont know but if I dont go o well.........ill try though

That sucks that your parents won't let you put the 240 on the road. I'm sure they'll change their minds sooner or later! Just keep bringing it up

But I'm def. intrested in this meet! But my baby isn't on the road yet either and it looks terrible right now I just hope it's ready by April! Cuz if this meet turns out, it would be amazing! And it's something I'm going to be looking forward to!

If my car is running by then, which I think it will be, I'm totally down for driving forever for a meet. I might bring a few non-nissan cars with me though lol.

well i think in or around philly is our best bet. it's almost the center of our region. i looked into Fairmount park and it would be perfect....but seriously we need to agree on a location soon so we can do further planning like a date, a rain date, who's bringing what for the bbq and other stuff. The sooner the better, because this will allow us more time to inform people about the event and get a maximized turn out.

fuel pump went out on me and the motor has got 180,000 miles on it. People who had it before me didn't take care of it.... So I'm looking for a new motor haha..

Any updates Jacki?

I agree with further planning, a rain date would be a very good idea esp since April is usually a very wet month. Are the two original dates still being used? Also, if people are going to travel from hrs and hrs away, that may for better for them as well.

Time is running out! lol The next 83 days will fly by faster than you think!

Honestly I think if we are trying to get people from Maine to go then we should do something a little further north. Maybe around Scranton PA?Personally though I think FDR would be the absolute perfect spot. Some VW guys had a HUGE meet there about a month ago and I didn't hear about any hassle with the feds. I dunno about Jersey

I know I wouldn't complain if it were a few hrs closer. I think it's funny how some people are complaining about a hr drive...try 4-5hrs! lol Still gonna try to make it either way.

Ugh, I wish everyone would agree on one place.

We had a pretty big Nissan meet at FDR last year, it got crowded fast and when the weather is that nice, that park is crowded enough without the 200+ Nissans that might be there.

I'm suggesting Washington's Crossing. It's about an hour, maybe more, North of FDR and I think it would be a little more central.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge of the area, but is that in PA? And if it is, which part? I def want to make this event, sounds like there should be a great turn out.
