a super holy mother load link! great pics on there!! interesting that they were discussing nissan not licensing the Skyline name for the game...but then showed what appears to be screen shots of a skyline....i wonder what the truth of the issue is.

the truth of the issue is that i logged over 650 miles in my R34 and it won some of the best races. plus, it is the only car i've gotten up to 250mph. no, i take that back. i had a ruf up to 260mph. what im sayin is, with all the screen shots and the history of people playing, they can't afford to leave out the skyline. its one of the best cars in the game.

Not only that. But someone also said in the link i posted that Japan would go into a Riot or some thing if the Skyline wasn't in GT4.

it really is, my fastest 'street'/production car is the dodge viper, with extended gears and such, this car is easily capable of 28omph (without drafting off of another car), and also, granturismo 4 is SUPPOSEDLY due out by about april or may of o4, so uve got a year to drool, i cant wait, considering they're finally adding so many needed cars, that arent neccarily super fast, but cool, such as the prelude, and prowler (but they've never left out the alto works xxx??? wtf, can we say priorities??), also the coolest edition to gt3 was the pagani ZONDA, but why the hell did it max out at 15o stock, thats a 2oo+mph car!!p.s, any word on ferrari, porsche, or lamborghini giving in and putting those cars in the game, or maybe mclaren?? (i have the lambo race car, but maybe a street diablo or murcielago??

Get a Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak....Max out the upgrades (well over 1000hp), extend all gears all the way and run the track backwards (you can tweak ride height too). And that car will do about 500mph no bull s***.

If you find any info on the PS3...let me know! No one knows how many cars are going to be on the game, but GT officials have already declared it will more than on any of the other GT games, but no one knows real numbers because they are still working out all the liscensing issues...at least thats what IGM is saying, and I think they have some pretty good inside info!

When it had the showing at E3 the producer of GT4 said (forgot his name at the moment) said that it should have 500+ cars and 50+ tracks. He also said that it will be playable online without a doubt. But the thing I am wondering about is if GT4 will have some features to go with the HDD that will be coming out some time early next year.

The article i read did state that there would be over 1000 cars in the game. Perhaps as some suggested, the game will come out and then soon after, more cars will be made available, however they do it. Either way, I'm all in.

a while back my friend nick had a ps2 and was so hyped up how cool gt3 was gonna be, i still had a ps1 and was set on getting an xbox for the longest time after seeing previews of halo (another awesome game), well one day i was searching online and saw a ps2/gt3 bundle for 329 (reg price was 299 for ps2 then) so i just splurged and bought it, i ended up having mine one day before nick got his, he eventually sold his ps2 for an xbox (go figure) and he never plays that now, he now says that when gt4 comes out, he'll be selling his xbox for a ps2, all so he'll have gt4 (as if he wont be over here everyday playing my shiz)

lol...anyone have a link or something so i could see what the PS3 will include? Will the internals compete with XBOXs internals? I know that PS2 has the best sound chip out of the few platforms out (gee, i wonder why?!), but will they be able to compare to the Nvidia card in the XBOX, or even the Intel Processor? Will they have a hard drive? All this talk about PS3 has me on my tip toes looking for details!

ok, first off ps3 will absolutely be more powerful than the PRESENT xbox that is out now, also, ps2 doesnt have the best sound card, microsoft does (however most people wont tell the difference because they dont have 31k tvs with all kinds of dolby digital crap, so on a normal tv they sound the same, as for ps3: i will continue it on the next post

PS3 shouldnt be out for at least a couplea more years so don't get too excited yet. PS2 still has a lot more potential to be exploited until then.

one last PS3 link, then I'm done for now. this is a good one, as they discuss the PS3 becoming the replacement for home entertainment/PC units.

ok, this is for all your questions of ps3 (that u mentioned earlier): the system will have a new microprocessor that is being developed by both sont and toshiba, as well as IBM at an estimated cost of $4oo million. recent patent disclosures (atleast the ones ive seen) show that ps3's cell computing architecture will have many processors onto a single chip, as opposed to just the one thats on conventional chips. The cell technology will break down processing duties and assing them to various processors. (think of it as an ant farm, with every ant doing an individual thing to work as one). Okamato says the console wil be capable of 1 TRILLION floating point operations per second (which equals roughly 1oo pentium4 chips). Graphic card makers Nvidia and ATI tech. are trying to talk sony into letting them put their chips inside ps3, but sony's engineers have thought of hte fact of simply dedicating a seperate cell chip to the task of processing graphics. however if sony did this they would be bypassing shader technologies that are only understood by graphic chip makers (shader are miniprograms that can quickly and easily draw effects such as reflective surfaces) Most game developers are excited about the potential power for the console, however Epic president tom sweeny (unreal tournament games) admits it will be virtually impossible to program games for a system with so many processors working in parallel. ive never heard from sony about how they intend for people to use this hardware, so i cant vouch for that one personally. Sony's new machine will act as a home network instead of just a game system, meaning it will have a harddrive, TiVo like recording capabilities, ps1 and 2 backward compatibliites and web browsing. dvd and cd burning may also be incorporated in sony's next machine. sony's will decide when to launch their next system based on the competition, a 2oo5 release is expected as of nowand also, as a side note, there have been rumors that BLU-RAY, a technology co-developer by sony that fills discs with 5dvds worth of info will also be used. That is all I know as of rite now, hope this answers your questions, i tried to keep it simple, any questions i will try to answer

Sony is nuts! Thats the best way to put it! They'll have to sell that thing for 1500 just so they wont lose profit!

then a game will end up being 70 dollars because developers will be putting some much time and effort into making games for it!

if you get ever last upgrade, then drop the gearing to an unreal low ratio, you should be able to get the thing to go nuts! I never tried it, but i knew if I did it would definetly go about 300MPH...that was my estimate anyway! Myabe they should put a Top Fuel Dragster on GT4! Nothing like going 300MPH in just over 4 seconds! WEEEEEEEEE! Drag racer 4 life! :D

You can dial the settings on the escudo to make it do a wheelie, which will allow the car to gain speeds at an absurd rate. About a year ago people were talking about 1500mph passes on the test course. I only managed about 850 if I remember correctly.
