GPS With BackUp Camera?

Any information or experience with GPS with back up camera?

NAV-GO model 760RV Bluetooth with color back up camera in license plate. 7" touch screen $329

Or NAV901 Color camera with Nav system $449. Camera also in license plate.

Thinking of installing one on the Rogue, but just wanted to get some input as far as the GPS goes and how the back-up camera looks.

Hey Dell,

I don't remember seeing anyone with an install quite like this, although there have been several backup sensor installs, and some Nav systems on their own. These can be found under "Accessories and Mods" in the Rogue Glossary FAQ, and here is a couple links for reference, particularly useful if you are planning on doing the install yourself:

As already indicated by Kerrton I also don’t recall any member activity involving a dash mounted GPS systems "with" built camera. As far as I know all activity has been on "either / or". That is.... there are plenty of threads on dash mounted GPS systems and others on backup cameras but none that I recall involving "on dash" mounted GPS systems that includes backup camera.

The threads involving GPS "with" backup camera all seem to center on "in-dash" GPS systems as opposed to the "on-dash" options you are considering. Personally... if I was going through the trouble of installing a GPS with back up camera I'd strongly consider an "in-dash" unit.

This next thread shows another "in-dash" mounted GPS system. NOTE: Most all of these "in dash" sytle GPS/Radio models also have a "camera jack" on the back of the unit that and will accept the video in feed from any backup trunk or license plate mounted camera.
