Took my Camaro out Saturday to my car club meeting. I had to stop and go into a store to get something. When I got back out to my car, I put my foot on the brake pedal and pushed my rear window defroster button.

Had to LOL at myself. No....it didn't start the car.

Whoo hoo....new car time!

When I had my WS-6 and my Camaro at the same time, the Camaro is an auto and the Trans Am was a 6-speed. The TA was my daily driver. When I would get in my Camaro, I would have to sit on my right hand to keep from grabbing the shifter.

I don't really worry as much about grabbing the shifter as I do hitting the brake pedal hard with both feet!!!

I miss my manual transmission....

I get spoiled because of the parents EX. When I drive that puppy, I love the I-key system. I wish my G had it. Its one month away from being an 05 and having lots of awesomeness...

Well....if you want his life story from the beginning, here is a web-site that my son made me a long time ago.

http://ramboz28.8m.com/

Since then, I have added a Powerdyne 4.5 psi supercharger and had it retuned. I now have WS6 rims on it. I did that when I had my WS6 also so they both had the same rims. Now it seems like most of my "mod money" is spent trying to keep things fixed. Being that I am a bad owner and he mostly sits in the garage, I find myself having to repair things like gaskets and shifter modules and that kind of stuff. Last spring I had to put tires on it because the ones on it were 9 years old. Tons of tread, but old and they scared me.

I have about 50 coats of Zaino on it.

I had a '67 at one point. Was a rust bucket

I almost bought a '92 Z28 in 1993. It was a dealership car with about 5k on it. color was almost a candy red with tan leather(?) interior, T-Tops, the tall deck spoiler, 5.7L auto, etc. Insurance would have killed me at the time so I got a Probe GT instead....

In 1996 when I was 18 I found a 1969 RS with a rebuilt original 350/350 combo. The car was sanded down and primered. All the chrome was redipped and in the trunk. The interior was original and needed help the guy wanted $5000 for it and I had $3000. My wise Dad refused to sign a loan for the additional $3,000 and the guy would not let me make payments to him for the balance.

So I took my 3k and bought the 1965 Jeep that sits in my garage.

I wish I had that camaro.

My buddy had a 1976 Camaro that was painted Razzberry purple. When the stock 305 spun a bearing at 200k + miles we built a awesome 400 small block for it with just about everything done to it. One of our buddies had a 1970 Chevelle with a 350 and 125 shot of nitrous. We could beat him on the juice. The car was so fast and fun to drive until it came time to pass emissions. Then the car sat for 5 years in a garage. Then 4 years outside. Then was sold to a 16 year old kit with big dreams for $400.

Droolin all over my keyboard!

My first hubby and I had lots of 1st gens and early 2nd gens. I would love to have a nice 1st gen, but they are going for a fortune now.

To me Chevrolet made a huge mistake on the 5th gen. If they were going to go retro, they should have just done a re-pop and made it exactly like the '69 - not a modernized looking version. I had heard at one time that Ted Nugent and some other people had bought that plant in Van Nuys and it still had all the original dies and molds. I guess he got more interested in guns than doing anything with it.

Back then, it probably was cool, but 10 years later, you know what I mean. Its like the TT 300Zx. 300hp is still more than most V6 engines, 15 years later! nahmean?

I bought it new in '93 and sold it in '02 after I bought my Max. If it were not for me letting people screw up the door panels during stereo work it would have still been a great car. Guess it's a like/hate thing when it comes to the 2nd gen Probe. I hated the 1st gen Probe.

LOL I can so see myself doing something like that. Probably sit there for a few minutes looking at the key and saying "what do I do now" :-)

Hell, when I was younger and taking drivers education in High school, I had already been driving with my Jr License and wasn't used to the shift being on the column and put my hand on my drivers ed Knee trying to shift the car into drive.

Plus, they didn't weigh anything. We got one for my son for his first car. I forgot what year it was but it was a pretty good little car.
