The interior was original and needed help the guy wanted $5000 for it and I had $3000. My wise Dad refused to sign a loan for the additional $3,000 and the guy would not let me make payments to him for the balance.

So I took my 3k and bought the 1965 Jeep that sits in my garage.

I wish I had that camaro.

My buddy had a 1976 Camaro that was painted Razzberry purple. When the stock 305 spun a bearing at 200k + miles we built a awesome 400 small block for it with just about everything done to it. One of our buddies had a 1970 Chevelle with a 350 and 125 shot of nitrous. We could beat him on the juice. The car was so fast and fun to drive until it came time to pass emissions. Then the car sat for 5 years in a garage. Then 4 years outside. Then was sold to a 16 year old kit with big dreams for $400.
When I bought my '67 Camaro a coworker was selling his '69 Z28 w/RS package (hideaway headlights = WIN). It was stripped and primered, interior stripped, no rust holes. Motor was slightly warmed over (4sp) and it had Centerline's on it (he was throwing in the factory wheels as well). He was wanting 2600 for it (this was in 1990) which was more than I had, so, I ended up with the '67 rust bucket instead. What pissed me off is 2 months later he sold it for 1200 to get some Honda. I was pissed

I can't WAIT to see that stadium. I'm a huge Cowboy fan and we used to go to a game every year till we started going to so many LSU games.

What NBA team do you pull for?

We have been Grizzlies season ticket holders for 4 years now. I love going to the games. I never liked basketball till we got the Grizz. Now I sit in the stands and scream my guts out. We know the beer dude by name too. Cornelius will come right to our seats, and always comes to us before last call.

I like NFL too, but not nearly as much since we started going to LSU games. Going to an LSU game in Baton Rogue on a Saturday night is about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on. Coolest part is that you can stay the night before in New Orleans. It is only about an hour away from BR.
